my diy wind sim cost me about 50 bucks max, i did have someone print some covers for the fans to focus the air but i feel like i saved a lot of money
Exactly, I can't see where the cost comes from. Everything is dirt cheap, off the shelf and readily available. An ideal first project for an Arduino, easily in the skillset of anyone who can build a pc or put together an Ikea wardrobe!

I had this game on the Genesis... even as a kid, I felt this game alongside Rocko's Modern Life were a bit of a slog :/ The sprite animations and music weren't bad though. Also some small nitpicks if you don't mind; >The red character is Ickis, I noticed you kept calling him Ipkis, lol. >The "bucket" is an empty box of chinese food, which apparently are called an "oyster pail" (this one's news to me)? Usually for take-away meals in the US at least. >The "blueprints" are photographic proof of the monster trio you play as, made evident with the photography development room (which... definitely shows its age considering digital photos nowadays), as the final boss is the "Monster Hunter" and lead antagonist of the show who's dedicated to exposing their existence to the world, but was often branded to be a lunatic by the public as the running gag.

I loved this thing when I got it in 95 but there's no denying it was a terrible form factor. The one benefit to me is the sense of privacy and isolation when playing. Pity there weren't more games.

$1000 is too much in 2024. This was worth the price tag bag in 2019 but in 2024 the index is outdated. You can get two Quest3 which is a far superior headset. Heck you can get 4 Quest2 for the same price. Quest2 has a much higher resolution than the Index. Index is outdated in 2024

Its interesting GTA IV kubrick is since Rockstar still trying to sell it :D along with the V kubrick set. But that GTA III looks pretty dope i guess it is as rare as it looks.
If deckard is standalone, I won’t be buying it if it doesn’t at least give you the option of using base stations. (And actual native PCVR… not the garbage compressed quest link type PCVR.) Every self tracked headset I’ve ever owned has given me sub par tracking when compared to the index.
Have you tried the quest pro controllers? Those are self tracking controllers. I think that’s what valve should do with the deckard. Base stations are so annoying.
