@TimmyDickins But... they dont. The snowboarding stance isnt natural, and therefore it takes a whole lot longer to learn that particular stance than the one everyones' use to. Aerial wise theres probably not that big of a difference, but railing is somewhat harder on a snowboard b.c of spotting landings and fully committing to a single direction, while skiiers can always stand sideways.

I'd say snowboarding has a much more rebelous feel to it most of the skiiers I've ever met have been total snobs, probably why skiing has its bad rep. Snowboarder for life!
The problem with skiing and snowboarding is not due to the actual sports, it's due to dipshits like this thinking you can only be friends with one or the other. Grow up and realise that they take equal skill and are both just as good.
