Hi thanks for watching, unfortunately yes. You don’t need to take the whole rad pack off. You can just put it into service mode but you will need to take the front bumper off and headlights out etc.

Hi, good question and something I had an issue with also. Try disconnecting/forgetting Audi MMI and just using Bluetooth connection. You can only use one at a time and you need the head unit Bluetooth for full flexibility and use.

Thank you ☺️, the black tool chest is a Halfords Advanced and the Green trolley is from Sealey, online. If you mean my grey workbench units from newer videos then that is basically a kitchen from B&Q but repurposed for garage storage 😃. It worked out much cheaper than those compartmental garage units that are similar.

Hey pleased you found it useful. Yeah the larger memory is probably better for that but for CarPlay you probably won't really need it. I went for it just to make sure I would haven plenty in case. I believe there is also now a Snapdragon one which is a faster processor so I would recommend getting that one and paying the extra. Not that I have any complaints about mine but faster is always better :)

@@InDadsGarage Not available anymore either 😄 I'm interested in whether it would fit a car which has a signal booster already under there. My A7 has a signal booster but no wireless charger, and something like this would be great

Sfortunatamente dovrai rimuovere l'unità PCV per ottenere l'accesso completo poiché l'unità PCV si collega alla piastra che deve essere rimossa per accedere al filtro dell'olio. La rimozione dei turbo è una parte opzionale. Alcune persone li tolgono per un accesso extra, io scelgo di lasciarli al loro posto. Se dai un'occhiata ad alcuni degli altri video della serie puoi seguire l'intero lavoro dall'inizio alla fine, inclusi alcuni altri problemi che ho scoperto lungo il percorso quando ho smontato tutto. Hi thanks for watching, yes you will be able to fit one of these screens to your A6. You will just need to make sure you choose the one compatible with your MMI firmware. There are usually 4-5 different options to choose from on the order page, one for each of the different MMI systems. I would also recommend opting for the highest spec one in terms of memory to ensure it works smoothly. Hope this help, good luck

Hi thanks for watching, pleased you found it useful. No you don't need any additional cables with this particular unit, everything was in the box and it was a plug and play job for me. However that may not be the case for other similar units. Hope this helps

To answer your question in order - I have had it installed for 12 months now almost and it’s working perfectly for me and I am very happy with it for what I use it for which is mainly for Apple CarPlay. - yes I would buy it again. - no I didn’t need to buy and additional cables for my install, everything I needed was in the box. You will need to install the microphone that comes with it. - at the time of ordering I didn’t notice a Snapdragon version so mine is just the normal one but I would assume the snapdragon one will be slightly faster. - in relation to operating, in my opinion it is not slow or laggy at all in comparison to my OEM touch screen in my Audi S3. I think in the video it looks slow on one particular part as I didn’t make proper contact with the screen as I was trying to operate it while filming it looking at my phone screen. This is something I was wondering as well. Although for the metal support, seeing as he could bang it out with a hammer I'm guessing this is mainly in place for the drywall to be secured to perhaps? No way it's strong enough to support the stairs.

Very, we have similar. We're installing doors rather than drawers for this reason.

Hey, I am no expert or qualified electrician or plumber, but my understanding is when it comes to moving Gas and Electric meters they have to be done by the actual Gas or Electric companies themselves as owner and they would usually charge ALOT, especially if it means digging up gas pipes or cables to re-route. It's not something a local plumber of electrical would be able to do.

Hi Justin thanks for your question, for this particular unit and my install I didn't need to plug or run any additional cables to the Aux port under the arm rest Or any additional speakers. I also saw those similar videos but neither were required for my install. The wiring harness and control box was just a plug and play into the OEM wiring. Hope this helps

Hi thanks for your comment. In short I haven't noticed any issues with sound quality in mine and didn't need to connect anything to the physical Aux ports on my install. The connection is all via bluetooth to the unit and plays through that as bluetooth Aux input. In relations to the 360 camera I don't actually have that on my just the rear camera. When you put the vehicle into reverse the screen automatically flips to the OEM system for reversing camera so I would assume it will just display as normal through that. At this point the screen is the just a monitor for the OEM MMI display if that makes sense. I hope this helps. I will be doing a follow up video very soon to answer a lot of these common questions as a walk through so keep a look out.
