Another fine episode, Jerry, well done! I like Stanford more and more. Today I was in the local thrift store and found a CD withthe Complete Morning and Evening Services, sung by the Choir of Christ Cathedral (Priory Records). I couldn't ignore that CD for one €. What a wonderful recording that is, if you don't know it already.

Well that was the quickest seven minute experience ever, as there was so much going on in both the video and the wonderful music. Loved the swell of the waves so fantastically created by Stanford and so effectively reproduced by the monsterous power of the Walker reeds under expression and of course by your skilful and sensitive performance. As you know I am fond of my boating experiences and I can tell you the effect is very reminiscent of the swell of the sea. I must add however, that if it was quite that much of a swell, I’d be heading back to shore pretty quickly in my little rib. Help!!! Love Aaron’s comment about the Sw pedal being your surf board and them googly eyes! I’m also loving the idea of flooding the chancel area of Blackburn Cathedral. I wonder could we add to that flood an image of John being carried off by a wave too! 🤣 I really like the recent homely chats you have been adding to the end of your videos of late too. Generally a lovely warm experience to watch your videos both in terms of music and picture presentation as the effect you are producing is mesmerising indeed. Thank you. Can’t wait to spend some time with you again in Blackburn and also to meet Graham Twist this time too.

It's such a cool effect with the expression pedal essentially being your "foot surfboard" to ride the waves! Well played, great registrations, and luckily I only feel mildly judged by the side-eye. #HandsUpForXmas

Oh Jerry!! This is so lovely, played with such color and musicality!! Our childhood music teachers are like Anne Sullivan was to Helen Keller~ they introduce us to the language of the soul and, in so doing, bring us entrance into a completely new and much better understanding of our world. I love to know that Frances loved the Lord ~ it is obvious that He worked through her. And now He works through you!! God has greatly gifted you, Jerry~ but I suspect that the gifts came with a cost. Grief is the cost of a soft heart that loves. . .

Wow, Jerry that was amazing - I've never actually heard that piece before but it was so colourful and the Blackburn Cathedral organ was the perfect set for you to perform it on. I think you've managed to get the perfect mix for the acoustic as it is so large!!!!
