Hello Mr TaW! Can you explain who and when made this tunnels? There’s not a road because it’s blind tunnel. Ok, not blind but it ends a big hole. Big hole with mysterious construction. Somebody on CZcams wrote that was for transporting lignite - maybe it’s true, Mr Kazantzakis wrote in “Zorba the Greek” of lignite coal mine… And what mean in Greek language Paligremnos - pali means old but gremnos??? Greetings from Poland!

Did this route last August with the kids and wife from Triopetra , didn't realise this road existed thinking its Relatively new, felt as though it was literally laid on top of the landscape, concentration needed at times!😂 south Crete is amazing

Even though it's posted today, the footage was recorded in summer or early fall, right? In Ardaktos I went against the navigation instructions and the road "disappeared" to us🤣 But if you had gone beyond Ardaktos without turning back, you would have reached Akoumia - it is possible because I drove this route in the opposite direction, unfortunately the asphalt road is damaged in several places by ground movements.... Very nice views, thank you for the video!

Interesting is when I asked local people in Kerames for coastal road to Agia Galini they answered "it’s impossible to get the ride this way to Agia Galini”… So, they were wrong😉

Very, very interesting videos! Both parts! I tried to go from Plakias to Agia Galini this (coastal) road but I gave up after stopping somewhere in the mountains when road “disappeared”🤣 Now I know where I make mistake🫣 Thank you very much!

Plakias isn't a village, it's more of a town and will be a City in the next years. They're building more and more, thankfully they were not allowed didn't build on the Paligremnos Cliff. I still love this Place. The Locals are like a family, you just need to have a talk and build friendships that will last. When you come again they'll remember you, Southern Crete is the best Greece i experienced and i visited a lot of islands and places in Greece.
