      You can't change the intensity of the sun in the UI as that would be contrary to trying to be realistic. You have to set this in your scene. I would increase exposure compensation in a post process volume if your scene is too dark. Or add some artificial light sources if that isn't enough. Or what exactly do you want to achieve?

    Hello, I have a question: Is it possible to customize objects that have dependencies? For example: a countertop with a faucet on top, if my client needs to delete the countertop, what would happen to the faucet? Thank you

      You can set dependencies through the "tag" name. Give both variation actors the same tag name. Then tick the "child" box in the faucet's variation actor. The faucet will change to the same ID that the countertop is set to. Or use Variation Groups for more than a couple of objects. Physically deleting an object isn't possible at the moment. You would need to cheat by replacing the object with an object hidden under the floor. Use the Mesh Transform array to move it under the floor if necessary. Another way to hide an object would be to give it an invisible material (100% translucent) but you may still see its shadow.

      UI3 is more modern looking and fully modular. You can build your interface to the needs of the project. Have all features or just a few. UI3 takes advantage of dynamic lighting in Unreal 5. Mesh swaps are easier and features like day light simulation aren't in the older UI. UI1 is working fine as it is but I couldn't take it to the next level. So I started from scratch for UI3. I hope that makes sense.

      Hi, I'm not sure if I understand your question correctly. This video is about the ArchViz UI3. This tutorial is for people who want to use UDS in it. Maybe look for UDS tutorials if you want to learn how to make a widget for it.

      They are available after you added the UDS to the project. There should be a "Ultra Dynamic Sky" folder in YourProject/Content. It needs to be a recent version of the UDS. You may have to "Remove Local Content" in the Epic Games Launcher before getting the latest update of UDS

      Thanks. The scene is assembled in Unreal Engine 5.3. The Interface is made with blueprints and widgets in Unreal. The assets are modeled outside of that with Blender and 3ds max. Textures are from sources like Textures.com or CC0 Textures.

    Cannot see mesh after adding it to swap mesh in mapinfo ,i tried undo it but its gone the mesh is not visible in the scene? pls help

      It's because it will be set to "None" the moment you add an array element to the meshes array and that array element is empty. Just add a mesh to the array element [0] or click on the show source mesh tick box.       You can click on the [*] like symbol next to the ACTORS array element where you cannected the mesh. This will bring you to the mesh actor in the scene. There you can make changes to it like assigning a mesh or changing visibility. But it should be fixed if you just apply a static mesh from the content browser to the list of meshes in the variation actor. The next version (Unreal 5 only) will have a better system for that.

      The object needs to have collision (enabled) or the line tracer will just go straight through it. It needs to be a static mesh. It can't be a static mesh within a blueprint. It would only detect the blueprint but not what's inside of it. (CTRL+G can Group objects. Don't use blueprints for just grouping objects)

      Mouse wheel should work for zooming as far as I remember. The other things you mentioned can be added to the character and need to be triggered by some event. There should be plenty of tutorials to follow. This UI still works fine but I won't add new features.     So, in UE 5.4.1 - The splines do not automatically update when you move a spline point. Is there something I need to tick or do to make it do so?

      Hi, I can confirm that. To me that looks like an Unreal bug. I haven't found a solution yet. Here is a workaround: In the details panel click on "Input Spline Points to Construction Script" twice. This will update the spline meshes without actually changing anything. I have to see what has been changed to make this happen in Unreal Engine 5.4.1. Thanks for letting me know.

    Hello Stefan! Amazing interface you created! I've managed to get everything going easily, except one thing that seems to be a little random at times, the tv playing a video. I used the same mesh, material and the variation and tv blueprint as the demo, but whenever I play the video it's paused, it only plays if I click outside unreal. Know a fix around it? Thanks.

    Hi, Stefan! Thank you for your script! I recently bought it for UE 5, but when I migrate the ui folder, when simulating my character does not move and the screen with the interface is somehow small and somewhere at the bottom... How to import the script into the project correctly, otherwise I have not been able to make friends with the system for a week.       The UI3 sends an Event Dispatcher "Call Interaction Pressed" to trigger any external events like doors or lights. By default it is the "R" key, the Y gamepad button or VR button. You need to cast that event to your interaction blueprint. I'll make that easier soon. Google 'Event Dispatcher Unreal Engine'

      Not sure, depends how your server is set up. I think multiple people can join in by default and everyone can drive it so it might get a bit chaotic. You have to try it.
