Pour On top of Wafers And Bananas. Egg White Meringue Under The Broiler Watched Until Browned Then Take Out And Set On The Counter To Eat Right Away or Wait At Least 10-15 Minutes for The Pudding To Soften The Wafers Into A Pudding Consistency. I Just Want To Make Note About 1 Thing That Will NOT Take Away From Your Recipe But Will Make It Healthier. COOL WHIP Is Extremely Unhealthy With Many Artificial And Unpleasant Ingredients. EXPRESS TO THE MAKERS OF THE BRAND YOU WANT MORE NATURAL INGREDIENTS. Buy HEAVY CREAM or WHIPPING CREAM And Use Your Hand-Held Blender To Whisk Until It Forms Firm Peaks or Thickens. Add Sweetener of Choice, Mix in With Spatula, And Vanilla Extract If Desire To Add On Top of Your Pudding. Cream of Tartar Helps Meringue (Egg Whites Whisked To Firmness) To Firm And Add Flavor. I followed this recipe to make banana pudding for my first time today. It came out perfect. Husband and my one year old loved it! Edit: I forgot to add I only used less than half of sweet condensed milk. If you’re following this recipe keep in mind if you pour the entire can it may be entirely too sweet as the pudding and cool whip itself is already sweet but it also depends on your liking and taste. Just wanted to note that for anyone reading through the comments. Using less of sweet condensed milk was on point for my family and I!

One thing you should have done was use lemon juice on the bananas to keep them from turning brown.
