Some of my fellow Black Americans would probably say that greeting your friends mother this way is too much but I love this. Growing up I had a Nigerian homie and he gave me a whole class on how to greet the elders in his family. It was so dope because those are the customs and traditions that we missed out on. Plus, since I did that. She always makes sure I get a plate of whatever she cooks still to this day. Even when I’m not there, she’ll call me talking bout “Hey jamari, I have a plate foa you” 😂😂
