Welcome to Scottman895 Travel! In my videos, I go to many different places and make some great discoveries from places in the state of Michigan, the rest of the United States, and the world!
Travel Videos:
1. Travel Vlogs - These are my main travel videos which I have been doing since 2009. I travel to different cities, towns, and parks and check out some great points of interest as well as do different food and restaurant tours. These videos are a great way to know more about what great things a place has to offer or maybe even to see your hometown on video.
2. Driving with Scottman895 - These videos feature some great scenic drives or city/suburban drives. With my camera taped to the dashboard, you can see a lot of great sights from the car.

Can you recommend any good museums to see? Great video!

Wow! We get a beautiful video of I-15! Are there more freeway vids yet to come? Also, did you watch playthrough of Mortal Kombat 1? P.S., you may already know this, but Oh Shiitake Mushrooms live in this city.
Thanks! I have freeway videos planned for at least the next couple weeks on Thursday, but this was the only one I filmed in Utah. I have not seen any playthroughs of Mortal Kombat 1. I did not know about Oh Shiitake Mushrooms, but that's pretty interesting!
You should go to hoffard and hops their food is so good
Thanks for the recommendation! I'll have to check that out next time.
I have your traveling on the road
I think for the title You should list the city or state you are in 😊
That's a great idea. I mention that in the video description, but I can always see about putting that either in the title and/or the thumbnail.
@@scottman895 keep up the good work!
Wow. We got it right here at home in the USA 🇺🇸 . Thx 🙏
Totally! It's such a cool place. Thanks for watching!
Aye i live somewhere here
When going down to the park if you tell them just driving through most of them will just let you go in and out without a fee nice drive through down river Video Ty for sharing
Thanks for the tip! I'll remember that next time. Thanks for watching!
It's kind of funny how there's a Cranbrook in Kent, England, and Canada has 2. The interior of British Columbia has a small city in the southeast interior of Cranbrook, and Ontario has one in Huron County.
That's quite interesting! I can't remember if I have seen another Cranbrook anywhere else in the US. I'm sure there are some though.
Owen Sound had a downburst in June, which caused several trees to fall, and some people had their overhead power lines taken down as a result.
Yikes! I don't think what happened in Beverly Hills, Michigan was a downburst, but even just straight line winds can do a lot of damage to trees and branches.
@scottman895 Entire trees had to be removed from 2 city parks near me, but I only had some leaves fall on my vehicle.
@@robertsitch1415 That's good. I'm glad it wasn't anything more than leaves.
I guess you can say that Fuddruckers has one of the most unusual names for a burger joint. It's believed to be influenced by a cocktail called the Freddie Fudpucker.
I agree. The name is definitely unusual. It's interesting how it may have been named after that cocktail.
@@scottman895 I guess you can say that Fatburger has about the most odd and repulsive name, though among North American burger franchises.
@@robertsitch1415 I can understand the name for it but also why it could be rather controversial.
Looks like you drove by a few largely abandoned blocks.
Sadly that is the case in different areas in Detroit.
@scottman895 I guess you can say that a lot of early suburbs there are turning into parkland or forests.
@@robertsitch1415 That's a good way to reuse land which has since been abandoned.
Just curious if you've driven M-25 from Pt Huron around the thumb to Bay City/I-75? Lots of nice scenery!
I have! I'm only shown a small part of it on video, but I have driven the entire thing. It's quite nice especially going up from Port Huron to Port Austin and Caseville!

It was such an incredible experience and one which I will never forget! Thanks for watching!
Detroit airport is so outdated
The McNamara Terminal still looks quite nice even though it's been around for over 20 years. It hasn't gone through any renovations though, so things always can be modernized further.
Wow you really like Los Angeles are you playing to move there?
It was quite nice! I probably would not live there as it is way too expensive!

I was thinking about that one not too long ago. I can see me doing that sometime this year.
I loved this walking tour! Especially the part with the bridge over the Charles River (and the dogs, too)! I'm very excited to see what freeway vids you got! Do you still plan to head to Atlanta sometime soon?
Thank you! The freeway video will be out in 1 week today! I have zero plans of visiting Atlanta right now.
Boston is beautiful! I enjoyed every part of the walking tour! I'm excited to see what freeway vid you have in store! Also, I couldn't help but notice certain people looking at your camera. Particularly at 8:13 and 8:29.
Absolutely, and thank you! I'm sure many people have looked over at me many times while I've filmed stuff. People are usually curious to see what I am doing.
I have seen some similar street performances in Victoria and Quebec City on past trips.
That's great to hear!
I guess a lot of places set up something along those lines during the main season for visitors. In Quebec City, they had most of the old cobblestone streets closed off, and I saw a guy juggling.
@@robertsitch1415 That makes sense. It's a great way to bring in the crowds!
It's a bit interesting to hear Margueritavlle in the background.

Thank you ,Scott, for such a wonderfully educational and interesting walking tour of Boston’s Freedom Trail !!! Unfortunately the strand theater didn’t survive the pandemic and is basically shut down. They’ll show some old movies here and there but don’t show anymore new movies
That's really sad to hear! It's terrible that they didn't make it!

Good video, scottman! Did you visit Cape Cod again on this trip? Would like to see more of that if you ever go back. Macs seafood in Wellfleet should be on your list!
Thank you! I did not go to Cape Cod on this past trip - I just stayed in the city this time. I would like to go back at some point though. I'll keep that place in mind!
I lived for a decade in Muskegon and practiced medicine. It has a very dark underbelly you missed or avoided. It was a majority Black city, a hold over from the Rust Belt collapse that stranded thousands of Black factory workers up North, especially in Muskegon Heights. Don't be fooled by the redevelopment of downtown into a tourist venue, as White Flight is prominent here and when I attempted to sell an historic mansion, fully restored, no White buyer could be found, nor Black for that matter. It is an insular White Only Rust Belt city. How much did they pay you to put lipstick on this pig?
Really cool video! Great job! You should have shown the auction at the fairgrounds they have every single Saturday morning year round. Awesome job though making this
Thank you! That auction sounds rather interesting. I'll have to check it out on a future visit there. Thanks for watching!

The 401 between Chatham and Windsor is my idea of a boring express route with flat terrain.
That's great to know! I have not been on that stretch of the 401 yet since I always cross over at the Blue Water Bridge.
@scottman895 Actually, that's the 402, which is a bit shorter, but also a monotonous trip across flat farmland.
@@robertsitch1415 That's true. The 402 isn't too exciting either.
@scottman895 Yes, the southwest corner of Ontario is one of the flater parts of Canada. It's a bit different than the Prarie Provinces, which have fewer trees, creating open vistas.
@@robertsitch1415 Gotcha, that doesn't surprise me especially when I have driven through parts of the Dakotas before which are just south of the Prairie Provinces.
Great video! A friend suggested going to Kensington park but I’m from the west side of Michigan and wasn’t sure if it would be worth the drive. Definitely going to go check it out now!

It seems that a lot of the New England clam chowder available in the rest of North America is the canned type anyway.
That's probably true. I think I have only seen it on the menu here in Michigan in places where the food is probably microwaved.
@scottman895 Yes, a lot of the chain restaurants just reheat things. To be honest, the restaurant I currently work at uses some canned and frozen ingredients.
@@robertsitch1415 Gotcha. I know a lot of restaurants do that too.
