I inherited 2 physical bitcoins. Do I need a password or code to redeem them? Where do I do this? Should I hold them? My brother left me just one "clue" as to their worth, $500 each. Do these increase in value? Thanks for any help.
NGC is now grading. PCGS and NGC are the best grading services. ANACS is good but doesn’t command the same market value. IGC is ok as far as authentication of traditional numismatic coins, but there grading consistently is all over the place and their market value commands the least premium compared to the other three. CACG is the most conservative but I doubt they will be slabbing these anytime soon.

Yes, I’m currently watching some of the lots at Stacks. Heritage Auctions is also running crypto lots as well. Pretty exciting to see a new area of currency/coin collecting take shape.
Nice video. I’m a traditional numismatic collector (US, world, and ancient), but have looking to collect unloaded and redeemed physical cryptocurrency (maybe a Doge that is loaded simply as a collectible). I really feel that physical crypto has a huge place in numismatics. First coins minted in Lydia 2600+ years ago and now we’re at the intersection between physical coins and digital currency starting in 2011. Fascinating and emerging par of numismatics.
@@SSS-bd6li thanks for the feedback. We are at the infancy of physical bitcoin. With bitcoin becoming a permanent place in society these coins mark a soecific point in time. I think these couns will play a significant role in coin collecting. Ive seen it grow and grow and only goes up from here. The most valuable coin in the world is a 1000 btc casascius coin. Holds 700 million and would probably sell for a billion. Only 3 made and nobody even knows about it. These coins are held by kings, sheiks and oligarchs. If your writing this comment today your in on the ground floor congrats. Keep an eye out for my casascius video coming soon

Good day, how can you verify the value of the physical coin, if for example you want to trade physically.
@@HarryDangiwa5484 the back of the coin usually has a number in a window of the hologram. That number is the first 7 digits of the public address. With those numbers you can check value on a bitcoin block explorer. If coin does not have first bits then coin will be accompanied by the address or address may be on coin itself, on back or rim. DO NOT buy any coin until value is confirmed. Coin may also be an unfunded or buyer funded coin. Watch my other videos for a more in depth look at buying and selling physical bitcoin.

Absolutely, no one even knows about them. Slowly people are starting to see. Auction houses beginning to sell them. Eventually you wont ever be able to find them. Physical bitcoin will be some of the most important coins on the planet.

The private key should stay behind the hologram until your ready to take the BTC off.. dont peel until then.. the private key is the only thing you need to swipe your coin.

BitFlyer, Miss Bitcoin Japan, OmiseGo, & Zaif (exchange) are all separate Satori made “customs”. Then all the individual chips on that Satori display table are their own custom one off’s, most likely examples of what Satori could offer companies and what not when they were still in business. (There’s been no evidence of the Zaif chips ever actually being released in to the “wild”. Not sure if they actually ever got made. They were set to be released as part of a contest I believe ) Great vid!

Hey - quick question ....... 3rd party grading company, ANACS, used to grade these as well as others. They just told me they Stopped grading these altogether? ........ do you know (off hand) what other companies still grade?
ICG and PCGS are grading now.. PCGS is gold standard #1 but ICG is cheaper

Interesting. This coin is different because it doesn't have a hologram or hold bitcoin. However this is an early bitcoin collectable and can be worth some good money. This was the second year they produced this coin. It was created by Michael Bruce and this was the last year before the mint stole his design and started producing it themselves. If you upload a picture I can give you a better estimate and what to do with it. I might even buy it myself, lol. I have a 2012 but no 2013. Thanks for sharing.

Couple hundred box's. How many cold foils total? How many mr holo's? Edit: 2 cold foil but how many mr holo's?
I think your asking me after a 200 boxes how many Cold foils i found? I found 1 shiba, thats it. The earlier boxes had less CF than later boxes. I had to purchase my tesla CF. I found all the Meta Rare cards although the holo MR is far more rare, and some MRs dont even have a holo version. Looking forward to series 2. I agree with you that CF has to be elon musk and i think the 5 CF is Sam B F. September 15th her we go
