I thought that adverts click in once the video has had 100 views
hi andy nice ride out mate .I've seen no ad's on your channel and thank you for that ...old dave.
Such a beautiful looking town, and yes, the church is stunning. No ads here, though I do run an ad blocker.
No ads and I'm viewing from Montreal region. Always enjoy your rides and running commentary, Andy.
No ads, Andy. I use a blocker, but I disabled it for this vid and no ads appeared. YT have been making life difficult for adblockers of late, but I'm not paying them £13 a month for premium. That was a very nice old church - where is it?
Love your vids I no lots of my mates do your the best😂
Born and raised in Dedham. Parents used to run the Essex Rose teashop! And got married in the church too. Great too see it again.
I dont see ads, I use a blocker
Oh Dedham Vale ,, I wondered where Deben Vale was
Hi Andy. No adverts on mine. Love the Suffolk scenery. Used to stay at Mistly when the Thorne was just done up about 25 years ago. Loved that area!
My daughter got married at the little church
Have to say, lovely little church. A very nice place to get married RSMF
Great video Andy, think I spotted myself sitting outside The Cock and Bell in Melford. 😂
I hope you pointed and shouted "there goes Suffolk Andy!" 😂 RSMF
For everyone that has a k 1200 : The gearbox gets less clunky if you blip the throttle in on the upshifts . I am talking about 1st 2 where most of the clunkiness is . The higher om the revs you change gears and the fasyer you do it the smoother it gets it really doesn't like lazy shifts. Also when you start the bike press the clutch lever for few seconds and keep it there before you engage 1st gear when bike is still cold .
Still got the bike, no inkling of getting rid of it as it still does what it says on the tin lol RSMF
@@gardenshedman It's an amazing bike my friend I hope I will keep mine for many years as well .
that wide load is on for the next 3 week ends aswell
I have noticed they're all over the place. Will have to keep away from them next time lol RSMF
That's a big load! We get the turbines come past occasionally because they're manufactured nearby. Quite impressive how much work goes into moving these things. Nice little castle! I might have to pay it a visit with a drone 🙂
Wasn't much left of the old castle, but the path up was something to be believed. But I will say, it's worth a visit that part of the world RSMF
Can't beat that scenery: must've been a great castle in the day. Thanks for this, Andy!
It was a motte and bailey castle when it was first built by those treacherous Normans lol RSMF
Totally agree with you.
Let's just hope they don't bring it into the UK RSMF
That load was a super grid transformer they try to move them on a Sunday as the roads are less busy. Cheers
Thought it was. Hopefully they'll get it all done soon and we can get back to normal RSMF
Where did you go last week?
Just to the outskirts of Ipswich, mainly Tattingstone RSMF
Looked like a bloody good day out. Thanks for taking us all along for the ride Andy, and for the bloody awesome information/history along the way. Take care and RSMF 👍
Glad you enjoyed it, always like a bit of history lol RSMF
Nice one keep them coming 😂😂😂
Will do my best, if this bloody weather gets better lol RSMF
Hi Andy . It's was nice chatting to you on Sunday at the Ferry Inn. I enjoy the video. Catch up with you again soon. Mike.
Nice to meet you, hopefully we'll be up your way soon again so we can have another chat RSMF
Excellent day mate .. Never been myself as I told you and yes agreed what a cracking place We will go back soon with a run to the supervise warehouse afterwards.. As ever great to see you and the lad Aaron .
Was one good location, would go back there any time. Let's hope this bloody weather improves, we can get out and about a bit more RSMF
Hi Andy great ride with the crew ..enjoyed the history. (Sad but fascinating) take care mate..old dave
It turned out to be one good destination at the Ferry, really liked that area. Hopefully we can do a few more this summer, if this bloody weather changes RSMF
Hey Andy: Would that king be Guthram? Locals told me in Hadleigh that it's said he's buried in an unknown location. Thanks for posting!
I'm not really sure what king it was, but I'm sure it was a Saxon king in the wars with the Vikings. But I really have to look it up to see if it's true or just an urban legend RSMF
I am having a bit of a Black Shuck phase at the moment.. BTW Andy I went to Dobb's Grave because of you and I posted the photos and info on an FB group and It got a lot of interest from locals who never knew the grave was there. So thanks for your uploads
Always knew about that grave, but never been there before and it's only 20 minutes from my house. But I must say, I found it very interesting RSMF
Hi Andy. Great ride .some stunning scenery and buildings. Totally with you on the electric cars .definitely not ever getting one .luckily i am nearly finished with my cars now .only gets used for shopping and hospital appointments. It's 11years old and only got 48.000 genuine miles it was a X mobility car ..Full history. Never lets me down ...so electric no way ...ride safe my friend..the old fella
I just think these electric cars are ok for doddering around town, but on longer journeys they seem a bit of a nightmare RSMF
For EV’s the idea is good in principle but, the infrastructure isn’t there and the battery range isn’t sufficient. Both will improve I’d have thought in the next 10 years. New ICE vehicles are going to be banned in 2035. As someone who doesn’t need 2 new motorbikes or cars every year, that won’t affect me a lot while petrol is still available. You’ll just need to buy the latest Euro rated bike or car before 2035 and keep it as long as you can.
I just think the whole thing is a bit of a scam, but if we're lucky, this whole silly scam will be found out and we can get back to some normalcy RSMF
Another church (Barking) that's on my list to visit. Looks stunning. Agree with you about EV cars. Lovely scenery. I actually recognised nearly all the roads you were on as I go on my own adventures around Suffolk.
So glad you enjoyed it, hopefully I'll be able to show you a lot more for your own travels lol RSMF
I've no objection to EVs in principle, but I think putting all our eggs into one basket by removing ICE vehicles as a choice is madness.
The whole charade is a way of just milking the population of their money to endorse their fantasies and of course their own pockets RSMF
Nice one Andy. I’m with you, no electric car 🚗 for me. Unfortunately, what ever we do in this country will not really affect climate change at all. Ride safe. 🏍
Britain's contribution to global warming is very small. If we bankrupt ourselves on this fantasy we will make no difference whatsoever RSMF
Too right!
I watch Jeff too & the Mac master, but not subbed to either 😂
Do like a little bit of Jeff lol. No seriously, he does talk a lot of sense RSMF
Fantastic mate .. Always a good one with us lot buh.
Have to say the same. P.S. Can't make Saturday, but me and the boy are going to try and get to Sunday. But the weather doesn't look good at the moment RSMF
Looked like an awesome ride. Some wonderful scenery, out with your lad, and some absolutely beautiful weather. Thanks Andy for taking us along with ya for the ride👍 RSMF🤘
Always a pleasure to hear from your good self, always makes it worthwhile RSMF
Gauranga!
Nice easy going video Andy. Always good, just feels like I'm there enjoying the ride with you.
Glad you enjoyed it, always makes it worthwhile RSMF
Love Hadleigh! My paternal grandmother was baptized in the font in St. Mary's in 1875. Her ancestors operated The Cock and The King's Arms during the Nqpoleonic Wars. Thanks for 'taking me back!' The only trip I've made was in 2010: We had a hearty English welcome there and at the Eight Beĺls. I'd love to return but my wife won't let me: See what happens after 50 years married! Thanks for 'the ride' Andy! Looking forward to some "spooky stuff" soon!
I have to say, every time I ride through Hadleigh, I always think of you and the wonderful stories about your family and ancestry. I hope by watching my vlogs, it brings back good memories for your good self RSMF
Nice one Sun out all out your the best love all your vid just keep them coming 😂
Thank you very much, hope you enjoy this week's efforts lol RSMF
Hi Andy. Nice find and ride out. Very enjoyable thank you..the old fella
Thank you very much, I always appreciate good comments. Makes it all worthwhile RSMF
That made my week let's have More ❤
Found this one in the archives, had no idea I hadn't posted it. So I thought why not let's put it up RSMF
Great video that’s my Kawasaki ninja h2 at 1:30 on this video first bike show it’s been to since I got it 3 weeks ago
Yes, it certainly caught my attention. If I had to ride any bike out of that show, it would have been yours RSMF
Fantastic footage mate and excellent quality As ever my friend always good to see you ... A great day buh....
Always good, Weggy. Onwards and upwards lol RSMF
grate one hope your right good one ahead this year 😂
Hope the weather improves and we can get more content out RSMF
Some amazing paint jobs.
Some lovely bikes. It's always the start of the season on this one RSMF
It was a great turn out as usual. Really great to see you again. Take care mate. Ride safe, hopefully see you again soon. 👍👍
Always a pleasure, Rob. Hope to see you soon RSMF
Such a beautiful little church ya got there Andy, thank you for taking us along for the ride 👍 The writing on that grave outside says... (The text wraps around the 3 sides of the gravestone) Hereunder resteth Steven Jackson of Ipswich M A Caius coll cam Who departed the XVI (16) of February A.D MDCCCVL (1855) aged XLVII (47) years On whose soul Iesu (Jesus?!?) have mercy. I notice the name Stephen Jackson is the same name as you read out inside the church. Maybe a son or other family member.
The monument is in the Gothic Revival style, on the Suffolk Church site they do say that the person buried under it was probably a bit above himself and pompous, which made me laugh because that's not what you expect from a site like that. P.S. Thank you for letting me know what it said, as a simple Suffolk Boy would have no idea lol RSMF
Great vlog Andy. Good luck with the lid and what a glorious church. There’s a story to be told there about the renovation. More custard please 😉👍
Yes, it took them I think 10 years to put it back together. And I have to say, it's one hell of a peaceful place RSMF
Great to have you back & more spooks please😊
Yes, we will have a look at this one and see if we can pick anything up in the church and the graveyard RSMF
Sound seems good Andy. Welcome to the old farts club LOL!
The joys of getting old lol RSMF
Nice to see you out Great vid like all your vids the best 👌 👍
Thank you very much, always nice to hear from you RSMF
