I haven't seen the movie and don't know if I will. But seeing the actor that plays Johnny the killer . Comforted me s little seeing what a kind look he had to him and how friendly he seems. Now I don't know if I can watch and take it seriously because he does have kind eyes. He looks too nice almost to be a sadistically violent entity.

I hope Johnny gets added to the Slasher Hall of Fame. He was phenomenal!

I felt so terribly sad for Aileen Wuornos, her tragic childhood, abused, unwanted and unloved. As a little girl submitting to terrible bullies in the hope that they would accept and befriend her paying all the costs for a party and then being thrown out of it. So sad. She was doomed from the beginning in her case, perhaps it depends on the degree of abuse🤷🏼

As incredible as the effects were for the time, they do not reflect the reality of living in space. No one uses velcro shoes to walk up a wall. They just float from point to point (think Apollo 13). And even for long term space flight, it appears the use of centrifuges to simulate gravity is out. The structural and mechanical challenges are too great plus, depending on how large the centrifuge radius is, the inhabitants would experience disorientation when changing direction while walking on the floor. None of this takes anything away from 2001. The film was made with the knowledge they had at the time, and a need to not disorient the audience.

If you are in your mid thirties and watched a lot of television as a kid you are simply going to love this film, it was wonderful. It could have easily slipped into camp, but somehow never did, it was sincere. The subtlety of how it played with the tropes of mid-nineties supernatural shows was masterful.

Loved the movie, one of the best movies I’ve ever seen. I can’t wait to see what Jane does next. Whole cast and crew seem like awesome people, I’m glad people like them have been given the resources to make something so special.

Although Adam isn't to blame for nobody watching the second season of Party Down (it would've been canceled anyway) he took the job on Parks and Rec and even filmed his first two episodes before Party Down's second season was on the air. I don't begrudge him for taking a more popular show for a boat load of money over a Starz series no one watched.
