    "What !!!! Is this guy serious" ? I hear you say . " I can hardly move, let alone have fun"! . This is probably one of the most important aspects of dealing with symptoms.. Is it the final cure ? , Not on its own in my experience. So what does it do ?. Well here's a list ... It counteracts your current state of life. It fires up other neurons in the brain. The brain releases powerful feel good hormones, you can't buy this potent quality over the counter. You begin to create and developed another side to yourself , a side that says "I can" instead of the familiar "I can't". If you commit , you may notice firstly your mind and emotional state rising above your symptoms and then depending on your energy requirements, the energy is sucked out of symptoms to fuel the fun. It develops stronger pre- frontal cortex.of the brain , keeping doom and gloom at bay.. I'm sure folk have more to report. At the end of the day you have two choices . You can get busy, making the best of your situation , or get busy, allowing your situation to make the worst for you.

    I’ve had lingering symptoms since I was 16 , groin pain , knee pan , random shooting hip pain , horrible IBS then randomly goes away , shooting zapping nerve pain in neck going to arm that randomly disappeared , foot pain , leg numbness, now at 33 I have migraines and I’m having a difficult time getting it to at least shift “ Symptoms imperative “ Any advice?

    After research, I discovered Sarnos theory and it was just a theory, that reduced levels of oxygen namely ( Claudication ), was the reason pain was produced. This is true for some people that experience pain only when physically active. This theory should not apply to chronic pain sufferers that often experience high levels of pain during a physically relaxed state. I can only assume he came up with this after hearing experiences of reduced pain when one exercises , pumping blood and oxygen to affected areas. I guess he never considered the fact that we produce Beta endorphins during exercise , measured more powerful then morphine at beating pain.

    Fibro till perfusion painkiller stage 4 cancer level, all lyrica and anti depress....and now?...no lyrica,no antidepress...just tramadol...drops or slow reslease100 mg. prescription 200 mg, I barely use 2 a day. Sometimes nothing. Without knowing the neuroplasticity, I just decide to cooperate with my body. No stress on it. But feel it in positive way. You have energy today, great...do but not too much...lesson of balance and not killing your body. You feel like being under a truck, do something at low level. Go walking everyday. Some day I could not make 200 m. Now, 45 min is fine. ...but a max. Not completely out of the wood...oh no...still struggling..but oh....way better than the deep I was. At least, with less chemical and a kind of talk with the body...will try your input..thx

What about pain attributed to osteoarthritis, in other words, pain along with actual x-rays showing bone-on-bone arthritis suggesting that pain related to that body part is "physical"? I am going to apply your principles to my knee pain even though it is difficult to believe that it is not physical. I'll let you know if it works! Thanks,, again.

      I was able to end my chronic low back pain with Dr. Sarno’s book Healing Back Pain. X-ray shows that one disc in my lower back is very degenerated, yet I now have no pain, even with exertion like shoveling snow.

      @@anitazuck while I haven't personally experienced osteoarthritis I've heard stories of people relieving symptoms from applying these brain rewiring practices. Loving caring nurturing self coaching and care, meditating on your body healing and moving with ease, setting bounderies and communicating your frustrations and wants, putting yourself first and giving others you've been doing everything for the gift of self reliance. Might be some nice practices I sense for you. X

    I've had wrist pain for 10 weeks now, seen docs and had tests with no answers...it got worse after dairy and another time sweet potatoes so i dont eat high oxylates or histamine foods, its better but the pain hasnt gone so even lifting a half full water filter hurts... Ive started lifting 1.5kg dumbells at home and i feel a little pain. Some said it could be pathogens or heavy metals such as mercury.

    Medical professionals are starting to agree is they are forced to. They are not allowed to prescribe the pain killers that work, because government has been convinced everyone will be addicted and abused them. This is not the case so too many people whom are convinced the same way, are spewing a lot of crap out there! I have had pain for 45 yrs of my life. 98 percent if proper follow up could have been fixed decades ago!

    Careful buddy, the oxygen theory has been debunked since Sarno, intact a lot of his theories, like repressed emotions in the so called subconscious too. Latest evidence leans towards a highly overacting / sensitized nervous system and MRI imaging clearly shows over activity in the brains pain sensors . My advice is there is no one size fit all. Regarding Dan Buglios approach , well his highly triggering videos and aggressive indifference mindset turned my back pain into full on severe fibromyalgia. Belief, small steps, meditation focused on calming the nervous system, assertively and mindfully, re direction of thoughts , actions and energy towards what you enjoy, reduces all the latter towards symptoms. This is a neuroplacticity game, a life changing game, requiring focus towards a safe and pleasurable life with a new tactical approach to stressors.. Another fact folks is that quick fix is a marketing ploy. Expect and accept this journey to take years if you wish to improve. The anxious to heal approach only agitates the nervous system further.       It was a BBC report that showed the MRI scan. It also showed the pain receptors reduce in activity when the subject began meditation. Hence Sarnos advice to always be mindful. I believe the brain is a very energy hungry organ , divert your energy to the mind takes it away from the pain.

    I’m wondering if this applies to endometriosis. It’s a strange condition because you can have lots of lesions/disease - severe stage but no pain or you can have mild actual disease and be in agony. If you get an operation for endometriosis they will find real damage- lesions and scars etc so it’s a real physical disease no one disputes that but the pain levels don’t correlate barely at all! That makes me wonder if it’s a type of TMS or at least partially. What do you think?

    Yesterday I realized that pain is guilt, putting all the pressure on myself to be a good person, to serve others well, to have an answer, feeling almost responsible for other people s issues... My TMS shows up as severe lumbago, 10 years now, spend all my money, already read dr sarnos book and did curable groups and psychotherapy, seems I am stubborn, i am still in a lot of pain, but your Videos give me hope🙏😇❤ Love from Germany!

      Thanks Daan, I get it, however telling yourself to calm down, needs to come from an energy with is more like. Hey brain, I know you're feeling scared but I want you to know it's all ok, we are ok and it will be ok. Without putting pressure on yourself Daan. I know it's hard when you're in pain, but the easier you can be on yourself the better. And other times if you want, which i did, which was to say, really brain, is this as good as you can do. Bring it on!! Give me your best. Which sounds weird but when you face your pain with courage and a willingness to face it head on, over times, helps it to give up the fight. Other times, I would invite you to lay down and just relax and feel into your pain, be ok with it, give it a colour and just allow yourself to be with it, without any big deal. I know I know it's a journey but all these approaches work over time if you believe it's your mind and eventually it will give up the fight. Have you also received and get counselling support, because talking through things is key to help yourself from healing.

What I do know is what the brain is told to believe and see as manifested, with consistent focus and belief, it can be rewired to do the most amazing things. So I would give it your best go.     I have a SpongeBob chord injury. I was paralyzed. I'm walking it's been. A while ago at this happened. But the pain started kicking in and it's been horrible. I want to try to change that. That's the road alone, Hey. Took all the medications or delete all.Now I just want my life back.What else do you have to do for narrow plasticity thank you

    I agree totally that it’s difficult to talk to the majority of people about this - you are so right to just keep quiet. If you tell someone you are struggling with back pain - everyone asks have you seen your chiro, what stengthening exercises are you doing, do Pilates, etc? These comments can create doubt so I have learnt to brush any advice off and actually keep quiet in the first place - best not to go into detail. Thanks so much for sharing/airing your experience.

    Great video Trevor - super helpful reminders. I have been on this journey for over two and a half years now with great success but do have occasional flares (currently in one) when ‘life gets lifey”. I manage these flares so much more quickly now and my brain defaults to 💁rather than 😱. Your reminders to stay the course, be gentle on the bad days are absolutely key and so reassuring. 🙏

    Just started the Gupta program for anxiety and mold toxicity which is caused by how I process emotions. Helps tremendously and I’m only 3-4 weeks in👍🙏✌️😁

    This is the first video I’ve watched of yours although I regular watch others. Been on this journey over 3 years after having a back operation which left me with a lot of numbness and pain. Great advice from you. Stop talking about my symptoms when people ask and cut myself some slack on the days the brain wins over. You keep the message simple to understand and follow, thank you x
