Yes, I think adding a zipper would be great. I'll have to consider that when I make this again. Tfw ❤

@@MsSeashellsCraftyCabana would you add another thin strip of material to that top seem or just put the zipper right in that seem?

@sarahleeds4205 I would make two strips from the fabric, the same length as the front and back piece. Possibly cut 1-1/2 to 2 inches width to accommodate the zipper. You'll have to consider the overall access for the opening of the bag. I would get a purse separating zipper, but you'll need to decide on the length of it.
