Out of all the drivers, you and maybe one other knows how to keep a safe distance. It just blows my mind that drivers think they need to cram their vehicles together like sardines while braking/heavy traffic/stopped for lights/stop signs. What is sad here is that even if you had accelerated to keep them from hitting you, I bet they still would have hit you.
