Just popping in real quick as a pianist - MAJOR shout out to this accompanist for making this song make sense with the violin. I agreed to play the accompaniment for my friend at her upcoming violin recital (my third time ever accompanying anyone) and I’m discovering that while the piano part of this piece isn’t technically especially challenging, in terms of phrasing I have no clue what is going on. So, kudos, and I will be taking inspiration lol

I am learning this for my auditon piece in high school. I keep messing up, so I watched his video. This video helped me a lot.

I have a sneaky suspicion that this is the original key and Dr Suzuki transposed it for book 1 to keep it in line with that book's pieces in A major.

I have to preform this in about in a week so I’m listening to this nonstop so I know where to come in with the piano. I’m stressed that I’m not gonna be able to do it well 😭😭😭 You play fantastic though and it’s giving me motivation to keep practicing.
