Unfortunately, I lived here. I left I had enough of the homeless, lack of infrastructure and maintaining streets. I don’t know who’s idea this is that living this way is normal, but it isn’t. Move on over to orange county and you’ll see what I’m talking about. NoHo and the surrounding areas are nothing short of a hell hole.

The fact that a realtor has to resort to friggin CZcams to generate clients is a huge RED FLAG.

I would never expect someone making a living selling real estate in the SFV to be truthful and upfront about what it is like to live in the Valley. A better perspective would be to hear from a working class person who does not make a living persuading people to do something they do not want to do. With that in mind here are my 5/5. First lets be clear. THERE ARE NO PROS TO MOVING TO THE VALLEY. Are you out of your mind? Stay where you are and avoid this soulless, empty place. More cons:1.)Crime 2) Graffiti 3.) More Crime 4) Not just summer heat. He did not mention when the heat is combined with air pollution makes your lungs burn if you go out for a bike ride. If you decide to go "hiking" in the summer, expect to lose your life. 6.) Did I mention crime? 7.) Crime. 8.) Traffic congestion that is beyond congested. When I lived in Van Nuys I drove to my bank 2 miles away. It took 1/2 hour. I am not kidding. I could have gotten there quicker by walking, but, did I mention crime? This is no place to raise children. Do not do it. 8.) No culture and arts whatsoever. None. This is just a horrible place and I am so happy I no longer live there. 9.) One out of every 10 people speak English.

If you move to the valley, stay away from Van Nuys, Panoram City, Pacoima, and east north Hollywood. Those places are ghetto as fuck, gang ridden, and crime infested with homeless all over too. To put it in perspective, MS13 is basically in Van Nuys on Fulton street and they have beef with the BVN gang, Lennox st locos, and other Van Nuys gangs. Panorama city still has the Blythe street gang and some others too. If you come to live in the valley, just stay away from those areas.

Another beautiful city like Panorama City,my fav,,Sherman oaks my 2nd favorite.LOL:_):-)

Yes, the summer heat is the one reason I absolutely hate living in the valley and if I could I would move closer to the coast where it’s cooler. Winter, fall and spring the weather is nice, but from mid-June through about mid October the heat is terrible and yes summer in the valley does last until mid October, the calendar may say fall starts on September 22, but in reality we don’t get cooler weather until almost Halloween.

What are your thoughts on Sherman Oaks?
