Here in eastern Washington I have way better luck cold weather fishing than I ever have during the summer

When you make a cut there it kills the action, not make it better. Same with speed worms. When you get a tear there in the bait, you throw it out and put a new one.

I know this is an older video, but I feel my question is still pertinent. I have a two battery system wired parallel. Is it absolutely necessary to run the same type batteries in parallel? Ex. two starting, two dual purpose, etc? I have a Blue Sea ACR setup with a single on/off switch. I run one as starting bat and one as house for electronics.

I love fishing tubes I use the Trokar TK190 the best tube hook ever made! Also I always use tubes that have the first 1/2 inch of the head is solid to hold the hook better. And I put a slice in the hook shaft side of the tube so the hook doesn’t have to go through 2 sides of the tube

I always use a rattle in my tube baits, but your outside skin hook idea is excellent.

I don’t always subscribe to a channel unless I feel it genuinely has helped me improve my fishing. I’ve been using the vmc crossover band and a neko hook. I love the vmc redline series of hook and will give the size 1 drop shot a go. Typically I use yellow dye or no dye so I’m also going to give the green pumpkin / orange combo a try. I’ve been doing this for a decade or so but feel like you have this technique nailed down to near perfection.

You can get a clear shrink tubing in the appropriate size and cut it to size. Much more economical.
