How we'll I remember my 1971 MGB GT. I drove through my senior year of high school and college....great car and fun to drive. It was costly at times but I learned thru MG manuals how to do much of the work myself. ....and the cost does fade from memory!!!!

Very honest video, I bought mine as a non-runner last year for 2700 euro. it's actually very solid. I have spent about another 1500 on it, new tyres, service kit, rear brake cylinders, steering wheel etc. I am lucky as I can do most, if not all the work myself. So far it has been a case of drive it and see if something breaks if it does replace it. When I bought the car I noticed someone fitted a stainless exhaust, rear tele shocks , electronic ignition etc so it was loved at one point in it's life !

Great to see my old yellow BGT (XOP 800T) in the background, still being enjoyed on track ❤

👍 Romeo should be used in anger at Sebring, piloted by a professional race driver. That would be something to see

I loved the video i had a 1967 British racing green MG that i bought off the showroom in 67 had it for 4yrs it was fun to drive

Congratulations on your first year! I recall seeing you filming amongst the extras at Gaydon at MG100 in May last year when I had my O Series MGB GT in the timeline which was how I found you, and then discovered you had also interviewed my friend with the Aston Martin MGB proto-type tribute at the NEC where both our cars were on the MGOC stand in last year's March Resto show.

Just looked at the Classic Vehicle Prints website. The poster really is gorgeous. But wait . . . no LHD version? (Kidding 😅)

Heartwarming …. It amazes me how these guys can do all their own bodywork & mechanical work to an amazingly high standard just wonderful and frustrating for someone like me who recently had to get my mate to fit a pair of repro door mirrors to my 76 B roadster 😂 keep the wonderful videos coming for all MG obsessed guys 👍

Great video. I was there from 9:30am in my b gt. I saw you interviewing and thought I know that guy from somewhere, then it clicked 🤦‍♂️ What a great show, there was at least 500 cars there. Great day out with the wildlife park as well.

What color is your mgb gt. The paint on mine was replaced years ago and it was changed then. Just looking for a different choice.

Hi there, my VIN reads out like this. It’s found on the front right hand fender (to the left side when you open the bonnet)” GHN5 334881 G”. Clearly its not matching with what this video and the internet tells you. Can you help on how to decode it please? According to my logbook its a 1973 model but that is all I know.

A great car that was ruined by regulations in America, the rubber bumbers were awful and the road height and steering were crap.

Nice video Graham, I enjoyed it. I have a special liking for Brooklands as we visited the site during a trip to England in 1996. My wife and I just happened to visit on a Sunday afternoon and fell amongst a multitude of MGs of all descriptions. Turned out that year the Annual Regency Run terminated at Brooklands. We were well up to our ears in cars as they arrived by the dozen. Never seen as many MGs in one place, it was spectacular. Keep up the informative work, well done.

The Canadian prime minister Pierre Trudeau had a white one that he used to drive it to work.
