These are the ugliest rooms ever . All of them, terrible.

If they wanted to create drama with this show they should’ve made the designers have to face these people when the rooms were revealed. As if they got to create these atrocities and then just cut and run.

The third one is really nice

Low budget remodelings by incompetent "decorators" -- what do you expect? This is a garbage TV show. And that chirpy host putting a positive spin on every stupid idea and how cheaply it was done. "Do you like it?" BARF.

How hideous these rooms turned out. I guess’s that is the risk the home owners had to take. I don’t think I saw any of these trading places that weren’t hideous. 🫣😖🤯

The 2 that really stuck out to me were when Hildy nailed paint cans to the ceiling, covering every inch of ceiling space, and when she turned a room into a giant circus tent! LOL

A modern Trading Spaces would take rooms like these and turn them back to normal.

Lots of controversy and ugly design = anything done by Hildy.

In the first one…the bigger issue is that these two aren’t meant to be together 😂 they are totally different people. She’s a control freak ‘I’ll be working hard tomorrow’’ - so no compromise on her part at all even though her husband liked it. He is wanting to be happy and is a positive person. Hope he found happiness in the end and didn’t spend his life under her.

I used to watch this show back in the day, but really, its a TERRIBLE TERRIBLE show. The ‘’designers’’ and I use that term very loosely, always made sure to come up with insane crazy stupid ideas just for shock value for TV ratings. None of them actually went in with a serious mindset to actually redo a room and make it beautiful. Glad it’s not on anymore, because it was painful to watch. Yup, I remember one episode where the designer colored their entire living room in the same gray color. Gray walls, gray ceiling (same tone), gray floors (same tone), and all the furniture was painted the same gray, and the sofa and chairs had the same gray slipcovers, and all the things on the walls, lamps and decor, were all the same gray. And to top it off, because the designer wanted the room to look like a barren gray cement prison cell, yes, he put a gray toilet in the corner of the living room as a decorative piece. Such a stupid show.

Hildy has always been flaky and think people will love teabags nailed to the wall because she did it and she's an artist. She has always been a joke of the show

I remember one episode when the designer put moss on an interior wall. It was horrible.

For as bad as Hildi’s designs were, I don’t think the show would have done as well without her. It needed some drama and she provided it.
