Hello, thank you for taking an interest in my channel, its just synthesiser music and related stuff. My setup is Moog Grandmother, Behringer MonoPoly, Behringer Odyssey, Autura Microfreak, Korg Triton Extreme, Roland JV880 recorded to a Tascam 2488 multitrack hard disk. Tim.

Hi all, I was wondering how the waves of the Moog Grandmother compared to the Behringer 2500 series 1004 OSC module. The raw sound going straight to the mixer, no filter or FX. Muting the channels from one to the other. When there is an A on the screen it is one manufacturer and when there is a B on the screen it is the other.

Starts with a woodblock sound on the Triton, drone from Odyssey, chords on the Monopoly. The lead sound is a combination of the GM and Behringer Modular System.

Hi, I was not getting any ideas for a few days, all my try's at creation were not doing it for me, but persevered. Played in a sequence on the Grandmother, which sparked a creative flow, and resulted in this jam, came quite easily and quickly.

That sequence sounded better than I thought it would when you were recording it. Fun idea. Now you need an 8 sided die so you can sequence the full octave. 😁

So that's how you come up with your jam ideas, Tim 😄 Really interesting, and it produced a piece in 9/4 if my counting is correct 🤔 Look forward to more ideas like this 👍
Right before I watched this video I had seen one about a robot worker. So it's maybe not too surprising that I came up with pictures of a marching robot when you started your random sequence. Later on, that robot flew in its space ship through alien galaxies (when you started playing the odyssee). I did enjoy the sequence and what you made out of it, thanks for sharing this experience! 🚀🛸😊

It is pretty much identical in sound and build is excellent with midi and no bugs like the original one I had.

Nice one, Tim - very interesting. I confess I did get it right - as I should have done 😌 The Moog sounds slightly fuller and the Behringer wobbles as bit 😄 But in a mix, as with all comparisons, I doubt anyone could tell 🤔

It would be nice to own a MS-5, I have the B'Monopoly, they both have the same amount of keys 37. I think the main difference is the Monopoly has 4 VCO's, pitch, mod' wheels and an arp', the Ms5 has 2 VCO's, pitch, mod' stick and no arp' . The Monopoly has no slider controls.
