A lot of people didn't know how to dance to this song in the beginning, because it was so ahead of its time, even Donna seems to not know what to do exactly. There is a clip of this song played on Soul Train, where couples walk down the center of the stage, people watching on both sides of them as they dance to I Feel Love, and it is hilariously funny. Some of them are attempting to do their regular same-old/same-old funk moves regardless of the beat and baseline, others are trying to do fast motions to the synth, others are trying to stick to just the base. They were all terrible. I always danced to this song with a movement to every other beat and sometimes down to one movement to every 4 beats. A few years ago, to make my friend laugh, I put on I Feel Love, and I did a movement to every note of the fast synth - what is that16 notes to 4 notes of the base? Anyway, it is really, really fast, and it was very funny, but there's no way I could have kept that up for more than 1 minute. lol. So, you have to have your feet moving that rapidly too, along wth flailing arms. Think Jennifer Beales stomping her feet really fast to the beat of the song Maniac in the movie Flashdance, except do that to I Feel Love, and then add some arms flailing around wildly and erratically.
