Hi 👋 At this stage, just continue doing what you are doing. Prior to graduating from High School, start looking at flight school options to pick the one that suits you in terms of quality of the training, length and job opportunities.

20 minutes? Without ongoing precipitation ❄️❄️
The holdover time varies with the ongoing conditions, if there is no precipitation, then, the holdover time is not useful anymore. But, if it starts snowing after having done the anti icing, then the countdown starts, so the time you have will depend on the severity of the precipitation, the temperature etc… 😀

To train as a pilot in Morocco, you must surely have come from a wealthy family for financial support as it costs well over US$100K to obtain a commercial license. Am I missing something? Humility?

Sir, what mistakes I should avoid in flight training?
The question is very broad, it depends in which phase you are… and even then, the list could be limitless as every person makes different mistakes
Don't leave much time between flights at the start of your flight training. Go at least once a week for the first 10 hours or so, after that you can skip a weekend if you want. Those first few hours will be your most important ones, they will shape you.

Hi Yassine, Amazing journey and it sounds very inspiring. I am an aviation enthusiast and I am considering becoming a future pilot, however I have some drawbacks and questions regarding teh journey: 1. I have eye-sight I have -2.25 eye sight and no flight school makes it clear if it is possible to become a commercial pilot with this eye condition. 2. I am considering to do an aerospace engineering degree in Germany prior to becoming a licensed pilot Do you think that eats up too many years or is it worth it to do a bachelors before becoming a pilot?
Hi 👋 Thank you 😊 To answer your questions : 1. I don’t think that should be a Problem at all. But, the best way to know for sure is to schedule a Class 1 medical with an aeromedical examiner near to you. 2. It is always good to have extra degrees, it can’t hurt, it can only be useful. However, if you are planning a Pilot Career, I don’t see where you can use it. Unless you plan to change careers down the line, and something to consider then is, no experience in the field and old degree, can you easily get hired ? While fresh graduates have the same qualification ? I hope this helps

how many hours did you have when you started on the Airbus 320. I know in the US for me, once I'm finished with training I have another 1,250 hours to go to Reach ATP minimums
I had the minimum Flight school hours, around 200 Hours. The situation is different in Europe and other regions compared to the US

Why would they all lie? well if i'm losing my job i better keep quiet. If the pilot makes the same job, he doesn't need to be taken his or her license away. That is the kind of dictatorial stuff which you all seem to like.

can you explain how much did it cost u to become a pilot? how to choose the best flying school? why belgium and not morocco? do I stand a chance even if I can't afford $10K+ for the training?
The cost was around 70,000 Euros. Living in Belgium at the time, it was the only place I could secure a study loan from. That's the primary reason I chose a Flight School in Belgium. You can become a pilot without any capital, either through a loan like I did or through a Cadet Program. You can check out @poortopilot channel; he made a video about the Cadet programs.

No I didn’t need to convert to FAA. FAA is for the United States

WHT about insering the wind in each phase in the mcdu for accurate predictions?isn't it necessary?
Yes correct, if you have time on ground it should be inserted, otherwise the trip wind takes into account the average wind, then when the workload permits in flight, you should insert the winds for more accurate predictions 👍
