If this is what stoicism is, then as far as I'm concerned stoicism is synonymous with stupidity. If I see a stoic in trouble or injured, I won't even call an ambulance for them. I'll just "choose to ignore it" (facepalm)

If I knew these words long ago, I could have been a better strong person.

Sadly silence is often taken as weekness and passive, its naive to assume "in due time people will know im right".. we live in a noisy world, indeed there is time for silence especially in negotiation fir example. But the man who has a response for everything is respected more than yhe man who responds with silence

well that was a shortcut answer to what I was screwing up.

I'm getting into the stoicism. It makes sense and has helped me through a rough point of my life.

Stay quiet, stand back and you will realize who is full of shit and who isnt.

I get it being silent makes you more powerful, but sometimes you just gotta let a mother fcker know what's up... you can't let people talk to you or treat you a certain way. A nod and smile sometimes makes you look weak..
