Jordan, I met him in SA this year. Got a daughter that plays soccer and is a very funny bloke. My mates sister played soccer with his daughter and he came out for his birthday. Went clubbing to the woolshed. Showed us the video, can’t say enough he was a super cool dude, he does real estate now but he really set Richmond up for greatness.

Even though Peel Thunder and the Fremantle Dockers are an alignment partnership. The relationship between the two clubs feels like Peel Thunder are a part of the Fremantle Dockers as a whole. So I consider the WAFL Premierships 2016-17 not only Peel's but also Fremantle's as well, mostly because on both Grand Finals the teams were loaded with Fremantle players.

I find it fascinating that the Brisbane Lions and the Western Bulldogs, with the history that both clubs have never finished a H&A season at the top of the ladder or even had there hands on the McClelland Trophy in any of its past incarnations. But then again its all well and good to have those honours in the trophy case, its the premierships that all counts in the end which both teams have achieved.

@@lmsports22 Fun facts: the closest Western Bulldogs got to the top spot at seasons end was 1992 with a 15.8% difference to eventual minor premiers Geelong, they finished 2nd on the ladder 4 times and the 1st time that happened was in 1954 the same year they won their 1st flag. Brisbane Lions has finished 2nd on the ladder 4 times, the closest was in 2001 with a 6.9% difference against eventual minor premiers Essendon but Brisbane pipped them in the grand final anyway to win their 1st premiership.
