I'm a bit confused with the measurements, since not everyone is the same size. Like how do I get from my waist measurement to the piece sizes? Because Im pretty sure if I would use your measurementts, neither my waist nor my bust would fit?

I made this dress (self-draft) without the bottom ruffle. Super cute but man i cannot tie a bow behind my back to save my life LOL. I struggled a bit with sizing the skirt, I ended up sizing a typical 3/4 circle skirt to my waist measurement and added 6in to the waist measurement before calculating the radius. This turned out to be less fluffy and very few ruffles, so if you want a fuller ruffle look, definitely increase the waist measurement more than I did (I've seen 25-50%) I also have a longer torso and wanted more coverage, so I kept the back ribbons at 10in wide.

I just finished them! My first pait of pants 😅 I had to make wuite a few adjustments, because I am a size XL for the 🍑 but S at the waist, so they aren't perfect but I made them with an old curtain so I don't mind! I will use this pattern for mh next pants with mire expensive denim but I already know how I will make my adjustments!

I always make things too big also, and part of that is because I see myself as bigger. (Lifelong issues). Some may think it’s wasteful, but rarely in 40+ years have I had something turn out too small.
