I love the old muppet babies because it was what I grew up with, but I’m glad that there’s also a new muppet babies for the younger generation.

I like how in the pilot, his mustache twists upwards when he's smiling and downwards when he's shocked. Cool detail, sad they had to remove it.

Well that was fun, but I would have preferred to have had new shows this week. Fallon stuck around, why didn't Seth?

I watched Inspector Gadget when it was repeated on CBS early Saturday afternoons in winter 1991/92. After so many clean-shaven episodes, they aired this episode, so the mustache caught me one time. But all subsequent reruns that same year showed Inspector Gadget clean shaven, as well as reruns on Nickelodeon and Family Channel later that decade, lead to me wondering the mustache intro/episode was a dream. I didn’t know this episode aired on CBS, considering they obviously could have aired every episode (and I know some episodes aired at least 2 times on CBS), I am surprised they would have chosen the pilot. I didn’t know the pilot episode airing on CBS, but I also know I didn’t see it every week, because Nickelodeon was still rerunning Inspector Gadget at the same time. When season 1 of Inspector Gadget went into daily weekday syndication the following year in 1992, my local Fox station only aired the show Monday through Friday, and since those same episodes always aired on the same day of the week, all 65 episodes aired, and one of which was this pilot.

i simply love EVERY and all of the human cast. peewee, jambi, ms yvonne, mrs steve, mrs rene, captain carl, cowboy curtis, tito, ricardo, reba, dixie, first king cartoon, second king cartoon, elvis, cher, opal, fabian, rapunzel, lil punkin. everybody is hilarious! and i love how they all interact with one another!

This kinda has similar comedic sensibilities to Picnicface/Gary and his Demons, which is ultimately a good thing

In the Washington, D.C. area, Inspector Gadget aired during it's original weekday syndicated run from 1983 to late 1985, it came on WTTG (then-Ind. and Fox). After the last episode aired, it continued to air in reruns on WTTG until early 1987, then went to WFTY (then-Ind.) in the late 80's to the early 90's. In the Charleston, South Carolina area, Inspector Gadget aired in syndicated reruns on early weekday mornings @ 6:00 AM during 1992-1993, it came on WTAT 24 (Fox), right before Ninja Turtles.
