Nice interview as always. I have two serious questions for Jean-Marc Why do you not produce more bronze watches and why are they so much more expensive. I would love to own one but they are way out of my price range and I say this as the owner of a 233 and a 682. With such a limited production even used they are too expansive. I have no problem with Panerai producing crazy amazing expensive watches but I think just offering a different case material option shouldn't be so limited. No other watch brand deserves to be made in bronze than Panerai. Why did you bother producing the P900 when the P9010 was such an amazing movement with hacking (I mean rally that is nothing to brag about, even all Seiko's hack now) and jumping hour hand. Is this a bottom line profit thing? I don't know enough about movement manufacturing to have an educated guess which is why I am asking.

Pure bronze doesnt exist. Bronze is an alloy by definition. Usually bronze is made by alloying Copper with Tin or with Aluminum.

All are so much more subdued in real life than the pictures in Omega's website would have you believe! I was leaning towards sandstone, but now saffron doesn't look so noisy as I thought...

I was trying to figure out how to read 1/10th of a second, when the hour markers divide the circle into 1/12ths, and saw on closeups that there are 1 to 10 numerals on the chapter ring. Not explained in the video, but at least visible in some closeup views. Nevertheless, nice coverage!

It has Darth Vader looks. I love it! We want something different. This is different! Seems like it will be easier to read the time at night or underwater though.

I find this watch very beautiful. I’m on an integrated bracelet watch kick right now. My wife just recent bought a Concord Mariner which looks like a cross between an IWC Ingeneuir and Zenith Defy.

Just got the Ironman black and copper and it's beautiful. Big, sophisticated and so light. I never wanted quartz in my collection but this just ticks all the (other) boxes. Very happy. Thanks Breitling

6:59 That adjustable clasp is indeed the best in the industry! It is produced by Brogioli SA, Switzerland and is available on watches ranging from IWC, to A. Lange & Söhne, Glashütte Original and Atelier Wen. I wish Blancpain would decide to also use that Brogioli clasp on its Fifty Fathoms watches - it would add tremendously value.

Really like this Zenith and will wait to see the colour way offerings expanded. Yellow accents on dlc or carbon case perhaps…the nato attachment concept is not new. The IWC Aquatimer had the same approach back in 2000. IW3536 reference.

This was as exciting as spring drive, coaxial escapement, and the breguet magnetic pivots (dual impulse escapement was a big let down), and finally got the call. This spirate system really delivers! Micro tuning without worries of beat errors a big deal because the positional variation is the real key for real life accuracy, and the delta is within less than 3 seconds ! Some say the current coaxials are accurate, but only one in a bunch will be truely accurate, but with spirate, this can be achieved rather easily.

Wonderful video, I have to agree with a previous commenter regarding the NAIAD system and perfect alignment. This system is not present on stainless steel seamaster lines other than the Railmaster. Omega makes it an important factor to highlight each time one of their watches has this feature.

A couple years ago when the new chronographs came out. I bought the blue dial with the bracelet. Beautiful watch. I liked the look so much I bought the white dial also and put the orange strap on. Again beautiful. I found out later that the movement wasn’t even made by Panerai as they claim. For a company that has the ability and does make their own movements, I find this disturbing. It’s a basic movement hidden by the solid case back. Why?? I’ve owned several Panerai’s over the years. This ceo should be ashamed of himself. Be honest at the boutique! I feel I’ve been taken advantage of. Spent 20k on what? It’s sad because I only own Panerai’s and AP’s. The watch industry has changed since the 90’s. You’re losing customers…

Smart move. Coverage of women’s watches has been neglected in the media. It will be interesting to see what Maryna can bring to the business. When you consider the high-value pieces showcased here, it’s a no-brainer. But it will be interesting to see her approach to the overall business as well.
