    • @Crafco
      @Crafco Před 3 měsíci

      Yep, this is for patching pavement! It can be used for patching any linear crack or distress like failed longitudinal joints, transverse cracks, fatigue cracking, etc. It's also good for patching microtrenches like you'll find with a lot of fiber optic installs on existing streets. There are two drag box widths included (6" and 10") so you can use the right size for the current job. Hope that helps! If you need any more details, send us a message at info@crafco.com!

    I would like to ask You what size Orifice are You Using in this Burner? In addition how do You size the Orifice to the Burner? The reason I am asking is on my burner the settings on the Sun tech Pump are set at 110 psi and the Orifice is a 1.25 GPH B Nozzle @ 80 degrees. But with the Burner assembly removed I see a estimate of 20 percent of the Diesel is being wasted because it isn't burning the fuel. My question is why isn't all the Fuel is being Burned? Is the orifice to small? Is there a Chart or Guide to show You the right Size Orifice for the BTU of Fuel You are Using? Or to produce 315,000 BTU's than you need so much pressure from the pump and certain size Orifice is needed for the BTU'S required?

    The most informative video I have seen on the burners. I have been having trouble with mine and this will help. I wished you would have shown how to adjust the igniters and check the transformer to see if it has enough juice to produce a spark.

    • @Brokefootchuck
      @Brokefootchuck Před rokem

      If you're talking about the spark electrode ends, he shows a gage used to adjust/check those. Some burners have info/diagram printed somewhere on the housing. One way I check spark transformer strength is to start the burner then lift transformer back on it's hinges. If everything is working right, flame should continue. Or shut off fuel to keep burner from firing and shine light into cadsul eye to trick controller so that it continues to run. Use a well insulated screwdriver that is at least 6" long and run from one spring to the other. You should be able to get spark to jump from untouched spring to screwdriver half inch to 1 inch. Less than .25 inches and transformer might be weak.

    • @stevenjackson7067
      @stevenjackson7067 Před rokem

      I used the screwdriver to check the transformer and was scared shirtless because of the high volts it puts out. Did find out that my transformer was shot though. I had been using the printed diagram in the furnace owners manual to adjust the gun and igniters. I then after about 5 years and a winter of fuel dripping into the burner before firing bought one of the orange adjustment gages. What a difference using that made. Not more bang on ignition and burns much cleaner. I guess my tape measure and eyes didn't agree on what I was reading. I was going to buy a stack gage but with the government wanting to outlaw oil furnaces it my be a waste of $ 300. Thanks for replying. It helps when someone out there with knowledge knows how to service and fix them.

      @stevenjackson7067 Před rokem

      Yes I changed out the control box for my wells submersible pump. The box had a capacitor in it and I've heard of them before so I read up on them. I wasn't nuts about even opening the control box but being the cheap ass that I am I was willing to take the chance. I shut off the power and let it sit a couple hours. Then with my meter I checked for amps, ohms, volts, anything I could think off. Even then I used an electricians insulated screwdriver. I made it through the swap but was sweating while taking the wires off the old box. I even warned the wife before I started that I may get one hell of a shock that could kill me. She didn't want me to touch it, but now that I think about it she only said that once while holding on my life insurance policy. Lol
