My mom had very long natural hair that hung past the middle of her back. It was thick but fine and all she really did was leave it alone. She didn’t wash it all the time. She just kept it detangled and braided up. My daughter’s hair is natural and very long and she does the same thing. Mine’s grow but I always cut it because I don’t like to feel it on my neck or my ears 😂 but all those products, heat , chemicals, wigs, weaves, tension, and constant stress on the hair will damage or stagnate its growth. You have to give your hair a break. I used to braid my cousins hair some years ago and she started to lose her edges. I told her she needed to give her hair a break from the tension or she would have no edges. She listened to me, and today she has plenty of edges. Her hair is beautifully thick and full. I could have kept making the money, but she will have suffered some substantial hair loss. I could not do that to her. Happy hair everyone 😊
