Is it good service

None of those three reasons for falling asleep in church have ever been mine. Due to congenital incurable illness, I can't drive. And do you know how my driver (also my father) makes me pay for his services? In a very abusive manner indeed. Prior to my mom going bedfast, every Sunday following church, he would drive me all around town so he can get points using an app called Shopkick which can be used to get free stuff, for which he never has to pay anything in return. Not only is this abusive, it's also materialistic, and circumvents God's main means of battling that sin. What I mean is one of the reasons Christians are to give is to combat materialism. But with this app, a person can give all he wants and still have all the stuff he wants. I got tired of looking to the world as if I condoned his actions, as a Christian is supposed to abstain from all appearance of evil. It got so bad I began to dread GOING TO church and there were times I deliberately slept in and watched online. At this point I should also tell you that because of my illness I need to be by myself as much as possible. Time alone is more valuable to my system even than oxygen. But as you've probably gathered from what I said previously, my dad doesn't care. This behavior did stop once my mom's problems got worse. Now she's passed on and the only reason he doesn't do it at this point is gasoline prices. But there ARE times when he gets his fix by deliberately getting our Sunday afternoon meal at a restaurant that has an extremely long wait time. Friends, I realize I am dishonoring him by contacting you, but I can't cope with this much longer. I am afraid that if gas prices ever reduce again, he will take advantage of it and do that kind of thing once more. I know because Rom 8 7 teaches not even God can change people like him

I Love brother BJ. I’ve been a Christian (so I thought) my whole life, and I was so confused. The word never made sense because I was taught false doctrines like OSAS, and grace as an excuse to live an immoral life. I’m thankful for people like BJ speaking the entire truth of His Word
