When I worked as a cashier at a rural gas station, there was this scraggly looking guy that came in. He had this weird aura around him, he had serial killer vibes. He may have looked scraggly, but he was very very too suspiciously nice. When he left, it seemed the store went back to its normal calm atmosphere. Strange, everytime I saw him after that I would get an overwhelming sense of Stay or Run.

If i remember correctly dont the neighbors end up trying to sue op for the cost of the painting which then gives op evidence that they were not the ones who requested the house to be painting resulting in them being about to sue back for some form of vandalism and the cost of repainting the house its original color

I worked overnight at a retail store last year this one night it's was closing time my manager told me to let the last customer that will be closing soon, so I did I walked up behind him and say excuse me he didn't hear me so I say it again he spun around and says did you bump my chest I was shocked then I told him it's closing time and he started yelling at me he didn't stop I started to snap back he got more pissed, he stood next to the self checkout still yelling at me, I think he was stealing stuff. After that he checked out and left the store I immediately looked for my manager and told him what happened he asked me if the guy was wearing a blue shirt he was he was still cursing outside 😂😂

I used to work at a clothing store. I got to know my strippers and call girls pretty easily by what they bought. Never minded them because they always got stuff and actually pretty chill unless in a group. Then they where loud having fun but I couldn't blame them. Plus loved they always got me change for my bigger bills when banks where closed.

Self checkouts at the grocery stores show the attendant everything you’re ringing up. Working at a Fred Meyer’s halfway through an order I realized that a man was buying rope, big black leaf trash bags, duct tape, condoms, and a few couple other things that combined together raised my concern. We can also print out copies of your receipts. As the customer left, I acknowledged him as typical for any customer done with their order and went on as if bored at the job and unconcerned of peoples purchases. As soon as the man left, I gave the printed receipt to my manager, pointing to the guy as he walked out the door and said “There’s something freaky going on there. Here’s a receipt copy, notify security, because I have no doubt we’ll be hearing about this person in the news in the future”. I had done this job for more than a decade at this point and never had a person make the hair on the back of my neck rise up like this one did. Never did see him again, which might’ve been a good thing.

I worked at Marshall’s. I’ve had people putting nothing but expensive hand bags, heavy jackets(middle of summer), and shoes. I got to know the loss prevention team and they walked out to the floor and they waited for him to leave. He ended up grabbing the wrong cart when grabbing more stuff. He then came to the line and I got to check him out. He was High as a kite. He looked in his socks and shoes for his money. Then realized he had the wrong cart and just walked away

I kind of have a reverse story. I suffer from depression and was talking to a psychiatrist who started to prescribe me zoloft. First question out of my mouth "is it possible to OD on?". He stopped looked up at me and I had to quickly explain I don't like taking pills cause I forget if I've taken them sometimes and didn't want to forget I had and wake up getting my stomach pumped or something. The sigh of relief was pretty loud and I kind of laugh about this story though I probably shouldn't.
