If we can convert this barrel plug to USB C then we plug into the USB female port and charge laptop. PROBLEM SOLVED.

Great video! I ALWAYS forget to detach the battery first, made me feel right at home when you went back to disconnect it. 8^) And Karlosss1868, I have done that with other laptops previously, just be careful as sometimes they have a very strong spring in the hinge. I feel foolish risking the display to save some steps, but do it anyway. Depending... Thanks for all the effort put in to this video, good zoom work, excellent audio (overdubbed afterwards?), and technically very helpful. +++ And I almost forgot, super pleased with how you speed up the slow parts, like taking out screws! YooToobers, take note! It's easy to do and I for one look for another video when someone is taking out a screw for 30 seconds and they don't bother to edit that to be faster. Great work there, Fliptech!! ADDED: I changed my charging port as per this video with no problems, and as Karlosss pointed out, I rotated that one hinge up to access the part without removing the display. The hinge doesn't have a spring, but has quite strong friction components so it's rather hard to move, but it can be done. I didn't make a video because this one by Flip Tech is perfect... and because it's a ton of work and you have to plan ahead and have lighting and a camera rig etc. etc. etc. Thanks again, Flip Tech guys!

Really helpful - thanks. It looks like you could avoid removing the screen by removing the hinge screws & pry up the hinge covering the retaining screw for the DC charge socket.
