This has to be the WORST toilet i ever owned in my lifetime. That gasket breaks every 6 months even if you use the original American Standard non knock off version. These American Standard toilets are junk and won't last! i replaced with Kohler and have ZERO problems..spend the extra cash and get yourself a real toilet

ok so i did this for like 10 minutes on and off and it didnt flush bc the water was still wayyy up, so what i did was scoop out the water into the sink with a cup (before you say anything, yes ik its nasty nd gross, but desperate times call for desperate measures and this was the second time i clogged the toilet this week and i didnt want my aunts yellin at me again, and besides it was just toilet paper and the water was mostly clear), then dumped in a whole cup of warm soapy water and bleach in the toilet bowl and let it sit overnight hoping to get to it first in the morning. then all of a sudden my aunt comes into the bathroom at like 2 am and i just did the father son and holy spirit and manifested the flush aaaaand IT FLUSHED PRAISE THE LORD THANK YOUUU 🙏😍

Not trying to be an asshole but the description doesn’t really help much. What are the DTC codes and where can they be found? I can’t find anything on the internet that helps and I don’t own a service manual for my truck.

Wow this actually worked my toilet was stuck for three days with toilet water filled to the rim I have tried everything including toilet plunger, pouring hot water down the bowl, liquid soap and clorox powder bleach, epsom salt, you name it. I was about to go to Home Depot to purchase a toilet auger when I came across your video. Just like you said all you have to do is be very persistent with the toilet plunger. Probably took me about 40 to 50 plunges, with breaks in between every 12 to 15 plunges to get rid of the air and to my amazement the toilet suddenly flushed normally! This was the worst toilet clog I ever had because in the past the hot water trick would usually work for me but this time it didn't despite using several gallons of hot water and letting it soak for a couple hours. Don't waste your time and money on anything else all you need is a good old toilet plunger!

I have that black stuff in my tank too, which I'm thinking is a chemical reaction from the toilet tablets that we put in there with the gasket that connects the whole housing of that thing to the bottom of the tank. Is this not something to be concerned about?

My pilot keeps going out. But it does relight, then goes out again in a few days. How is it possible that there is enough air to burn gas to heat the entire contents of the water heater, but not enough to keep the tiny pilot lit?

Change out the whole flush valve. There's better ones that don't require all that.

I see a lot of love for Kohler, but don't forget that Mansfield is an American made brand. Search for a video of a Mansfield Summit flush. Get a 1.6 gallon tanks and swap out the flush valve. There's a valve hack that will give you more water per flush. I've been researching for the last few months and I know what I'm buying now.

Hey I was wondering if this works on toilets that have about give or take 40 tiles of toilets paper and lots of waste. also the toilets 's water does all go down and the bow is empty after about every 5 minutes after flushing.

Thanks for the video. Taking our filter out really took some force. Thanks to you, I knew I wasn't going to break anything if I had to pull harder. I'm glad Samsung changed the filter location in newer models because it's a pain in the butt to have to remove things from the top shelf in order to change the filter.

the white knot is like tied to the toilet. i cant get it off. the guy who installed it was a.garbage used cheap plastic lever which broke easily. Yet he managed the know so f strong and tight that u can't take it off easily.
