The only reason I can assume for adding Tiger to this story, was to try and elevate his stature.., which he failed at miserably in his attempt....
In my neighborhood, we call guys like Hal BLOWHARDS.
Did he eat Tiger ?
Hal Sutton: 15 Pro wins, 1 Major Tiger Woods: 82 Pro wins, 15 Majors. Enough said!
Hal has always has been my most disliked golfer. His self love bullshit on here is a great example.
Ricky Bobby
Halimony!!!!!
Who he tryin too bullshit...?
If Hal had honest people around him they’d tell him holster that story. It’s embarrassing. They aren’t in the same universe. Hal if you want to inspire young golfers, refer them to listen to and watch TW
The only person putting Hal and the GOAT in the same conversation is Hal.
Hal ❤ ‘s Hal
Halimony.
Fair play to him, he won that tournament and won it well.
This guy actually believes his “A” game is as good as Tigers “C” game…..some people.
This is exactly why introverts exist. Who in the hell wants to listen to another person blowing smoke up his own ass .. gtfoh
Miss Hal being here in the Shreveport/Bossier area. Was a nice, but stern man!! Had the privilege of playing golf with him in 2001 at his Olde Oaks Golf Club course in designed and lived at for many years. Solid dude!!!
Your ears probably don’t
If I had that story I would tell it daily. Name anyone else who can? I think there was a South Korean that took it to Tiger but very few between 99 and 2010
Maybe if more people believed the message given by Hal, Tiger would not have won so much. Some guys were beat before the round started.
Hal was beaten like a rented mule more than once by Tiger. Nobody in the game has as many epic shots and putts when absolutely needed to finish off tournaments than TW. Before the round, during and after…Tiger had a good 10+ years of just owning the tour.
@@jdhrap not the point
@@Ligerpridewhatever
Exactly…Buster Douglas was not an all around successful boxer but on one night he believed he could succeed and he beat Tyson. It’s a good lesson. Tiger believed in himself. Hal showed he could be beaten by not caving psychologically…Tiger was the best in his era at keeping that psychological edge. Jack was the best in his era at doing the same thing. Most players were beat before they ever faced Jack, but Lee Trevino didn’t care about that…Trevino was better than Sutton, but none of that matters. It’s just a lesson about mindset.
In all the years since Jack was past his prime I have hardly ever heard that Jack had a mental edge over the competition. He was a great golfer and had a few peers that were great in his era too. Tiger looked and acted like a d*ck on the course. Cuz he hated you. You were trying to take something he wanted. And that was a W every time he played. Look at his interview with Curtis Strange. I wanna win. 2nd sucks. “You’ll learn.” Never have seen ANY interviews, stories, anecdotes about Jack being anything like that. And that’s fine. Jack was a nice guy, great golfer, one of the very best. But Tiger…think his dad put a chip on his shoulder and Tiger came off as pompous and standoffish…but THAT is what made him great. Everyone k ew he wanted to win but his game, attitude, epic shots called up on demand…those guys knew they were beat not Jack’s competition. My $.02
When I see the word Golf I think of half a dozen golfers immediately, Hal what's his name is not one of them.
His ego has commanded many a rooms, telling that story. You can tell he’s on autopilot, like he’s said it a million times
All he’s saying is that he believed in himself and that’s the right attitude to have in competition.
Hal seems to be a big fan of Hal
Forgot about this guy
Unfortunately, for Hal and dozens of other golfers they had that same mindset may be on a given day and Tiger still beat them at a high percentage
.......anyway, he won the next day, and Tiger came in 2nd. Hal beat the Great One that day. At the Players Championship.
Hal was always one of my favorites.
Small hand=insecure man
5 divorces will do it to ya I guess😂😂😂😂Halimoney
Overrated boomer........
You can knock Hal but not Tiger ?
Always liked watching Hal….but his record against TW? Well, he’s 1-81 ! He shined at TPC that day and has a story for a lifetime. Beating him in early rounds a few times helped his maturity, but we all know the rest of the story. Players should have given TW a thank you for playing the European Tour so often and giving them a break. ( he won about 30 events across pond and I believe only Seve has more in history )
He’s that guy that tells the same story at every party or dinner he’s at while people contemplate ending themselves
Hal likes him some Hal.
Sutton is not nearly as smart as he thinks he is. Typical redneck who thinks he is sooooo wise....LOLOL
Sounds like fuzzy at the masters couldn't shine tws shoes.
Hal thinks very highly of Hal.
Always has been a total twat through and through.
Shouldbe penalized 2strokes for talking to much
1 stroke penalty on you, sir. "Too" is used when one means also, or when it's being used as an adverb. You're welcome. These off-course strokes can be expensive.
Farce
Hal has had a terrific PGA career, but let’s put this shit in perspective: Tiger has as many majors (14) as Hal has PGA Tour victories. Tiger has 68 more PGA Tour victories.
Does Tiger not have 15 majors? Your point is, however, received.
@@Eric-tj3tg Yes 15 is correct
how ignurt, wat an enbred
I was waiting for the punchline that never came.
Me too
So was I lol
😂😂and Hal….your point is….
He is the punchline
But he still lacked the wisdom to tell a story like this. 🤦♂️👎🙊😵💫🥺🙄😳🙈🥸🤔🫣😖☹️
Known Hal since junior tournaments. Beat him more than he beat me. Never cared for him or his overbearing father.
Yea ok
Trump supporters dishing Hal
Jesus Christ show some respect, you can’t clean his clubs
👏🏻
“Be the right club today”!!
Sure was
Fred Flinstone in an orange golf shirt.
now now gggggggggggggggg

A grown man named "Tiger". Bitch boy beat Hal to the booze and drugs though.
Why do I have the feeling he rambles a little...
had to crank up the volume to 80 to hear this!
Thanks I am now dumber having listened to that.
Be the right club today! F all the haters Hal. None of them could carry your jock!
