Beautiful desk! For me the Wheel of Fortune does not look empty- the card has a person who is looking at the wheel I guess. Makes me think that sometimes we do nothing or if we do something it will not change the outcome. Really like how the new format helps to understand the cards better.

The concept of the Rider Marseille deck was RWS of Pixie had created it in the woodblock Marseille style. I agree with another commenter that the pentacles are disappointing.

Thanks for this comparison! It’s very interesting to see all 4 side by side. Unfortunately, the Rider Marseilles deck lost me when it didn’t use the Marseilles style coins for the pentacles. It had been so fun up until that suit to see the Marseilles style pips in an RWS image. I was a bit bummed that they didn’t keep it up for the pentacles.

Thanks for watching! Yeah- they are quite long. I think they may be similar in size to the Enchanted Tarot Anniversary edition. I personally think that they are worth the effort. Perhaps you could do the swirl method of shuffling, or try cutting them several times into piles before combining again and pulling cards. Where there is a will there is a way lol. I saw the colors and fell instantly in love, and I appreciate her “modern” version of this ancient deck. 💜

Thanks for sharing. I love that she always nests her images on dark backgrounds. The clarity is excellent and her colors are rich. I worry, for me, about the size, and whether I'd find them difficult to handle. I tend to prefer smaller cards and have difficulty shuffling and handling larger cards or those on stock that makes handling difficult.

I'm not into Celtic culture ,I just have no connection with it but this deck looks awesome. Love those bright green backs and the woodcut style. They don't at all look like Rorschach prints to me, for several reasons, but because of the designs, they could be projective because, as you said, you can see different images in them with the negative space. Cool deck!!
