I appreciate any video that helps us newbies. I thought my vintage Black Eagles came with an outsert but they didn’t. I’m still good to go on my arrow purchases and gluing the inserts. I hadn’t shot a recurve bow since summer camp 42 years ago. I’m really enjoying getting into barebow archery at over 50 years of age. Absolutely love the variables. It’s not like shooting a rifle. I appreciate people like you helping the new people. 👍🇺🇸

i’ve never used gorilla glue or super glue, very interesting. Always used a 2 part epoxy or insert iron, also heard that gorilla glue and super glue don’t have as much flexibility as an epoxy or slow cured glue.

They need to off set the screws for the blades. They all come through the Feral at the same place and it causes a week point. Kills the benefit of having a steel feral. Shot a deer in the shoulder with one and it busted in half at that spot. So I’ve done testing since and every one broke at that point. Lucky enough the remainder of the feral made it into lungs. The blades and point were all in the shoulder.

150 yards is a lot for such a good shot, (you did a great shot kid, no wrries). I would try other broadheads such as the crossbow Swhackers 125. My deers never go more that 30 yards, with Swhacker. Thanks
