I've spent many hours weeding my block paths until I was told to use boiling water and just pour straight over the weeds ... job done. ❤

Your baskets and pots are looking amazing Heidi. Mine are starting to look a bit bedraggled. I'm good at deadheading but need to improve with my feeding and do it more regularly. I can tell by yours the difference it makes. Love the yellow flowers which I think are perennial sunflowers. Gorgeous pops of colour.

Thank you as always for sharing your home and garden heidi. I really enjoy the gardening videos. It gives me so much inspiration. I love watching how you place plants and what you plant nearby. I rush out to my own garden and look to see if I can replicate similar (which is often no as its a small garden haha, but you do give me some lovely ideas). We both have a love for david austin roses. I fear I had too many roses and not enough shrubs so I gave a few roses away this year and swapped them for some plain greenery .(boring!) I'll look forward to watching your new trees grow. I've planted a few trees this year and still have a magnolia in a pot that is dying to get into the ground (I love magnolias, providing the frost stays away. I have 4 different ones all still under 5 years old). Mine aren't huge varieties but like you I'll keep my trees pruned to a manageable size. Happy gardening lovely x

You have a good eye for design Heidi as bringing out that border has made such a difference. When I was a little girl growing up in Cornwall, we used to go to a beach called Gunwalloe and the highlight for me was when we drove past a thatched cottage. There's something magical about them.

Hi Heidi, I'm the other way around and write down what I've done in the garden! I always think you're amazing what you do in yours as it's so much bigger than mine. Gardens are a lot of hard work and the jobs are never ending but I'd rather be outside than in doing housework! Hope the recent bad winds didn't do any damage in your neck of the woods. xxx

Your garden is beautiful. I do understand the plants going funny. Our's have too 😢 But, we are on it now, five minutes at a time. I grabbed some potatoes up, so that was fab. Things are just different this year.😮

It's been a rubbish year for us gardeners Heidi. I lost so many annuals that I grew myself and although my garden is colourful, it's normally a lot better. The few sunflowers that germinated are now in bloom but are so late. Your garden is looking lovely and a gold winner in my eyes and look at how much the little chicks have grown! Congratulations to Olive. She's done you proud.

Your garden continues to be delightful and colourful Heidi . Here in Lancashire some of the tree are already beginning to turn. It's been a funny year weather wise everywhere.

Your garden still looks beautiful Heidi despite the weather. I think my roses suffered the most out of all the flowers. A lot of buds rotted before opening due to the constant rain up here in southern Scotland and it was quite cold at times during June. It's a lovely day today but I think Autumn is not too far away. Very misty and full of spider webs this morning.

Looking so good Heidi. I bet that was hot, thirsty work! We've just come back from our holiday in Shropshire and I was so happy as we went to David Austin's rose place. I could've come home with all the roses but narrowed it down to four. I know that you love your David Austin roses too.

Your flower arrangements with your own flowers look amazing Heidi! I would LOVE those in my home. When you think of the price you pay for cut flowers, it is so worth having the ones you grew yourself in your home. You work so hard on your lovely garden, and it must be great to be able to look out of that window into the field, and you can watch the cows, and it lets so much light in. xxx
