Let me share my spiritual experience concerning the scripture in Romans 8:26. After I got born again in my spirit when I received the Salvation in the Name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, within few days the "groanings" manifested in me. I did groan heavily when I am so touched in my prayer especially when I prayed deeply. It became part of my normal prayer life whenever I was so moved while praying. It always manifests when I am praying in the spirit, and sometimes when I worship in the spirit. At its first manifestation I wondered why it happened, for I never heard of it before nor read of it in the Bible (at that time I had read only small portion of the Bible). But later on, I was amazed with exceeding gladness when I found it in the book of Romans. How I was so thankful to The LORD that He gives me such gift of praying in the spirit with groanings. For I know that the Spirit makes intercession for me with groanings when I know not what I should pray for as I ought. And that, I am sure that the Spirit is making intercession for me according to the will of God. This gives me a blessed assurance that The LORD hears my prayers. Thank You so much Father. Thank You. Each time I prayed with groanings, the burden that was in me before is released, and I became refreshed after the prayer. And I know that our merciful and gracious God is doing something good to whomsoever it is due, though I know not what I had prayed for. This kind of prayer had done a major part when the Lord Jesus raised up Lazarus from the dead. ( John 11:33-44 ) I hope this testimony will give a light of truth, wisdom and understanding to these scriptures. ( Romans 8:26-27 ) To God be the glory! God bless and graces to all.

It is not once saved always saved. When you receive the gift of the Holy Ghost he can and will leave you if you walk away from Yahusha. It is not in the scriptures that when you get the Holy Ghost he will never leave you and you become Yahusha's "Church". Yes Yeshua's "Church" is all Yahusha's children from the beginning of time. If he is only talking about people after a point that would leave out those who are with Yahusha before that point. You can not and are not a child of Yahusha if you are not baptized in his name. ( what is his name? most call him Jesus however the letter J was not around until about the 16th century. Being baptized in the titles father, son, and Holy Ghost it's not the correct way either.) Yahusha is the name you must be baptized in. Don't take my word for it Yahusha said search the scriptures to show thyself approved. All those who preach and teach the trinity or once saved always saved is a false prophet. You know the kind Yahusha says to look out for us about? These people will walk you into HELL!
I am an ELCA Lutheran from South Carolina. Today (June 3), this was the basis for our Sunday School Lesson of the Day. It was entitled "Justice and Sabbath Laws." The hymn, "O Christ, Your Heart, Compassionate," written by Herman G. Stuempfle, Jr (1923-2007) is a good hymn to compliment this Scripture, regardless of denomination.
I just re-listened to the book of Jonah. 6&3/4 years ago when I first started attending this church, this was one of the first studies I heard. And although I was a Christian for 35 plus years already, I was walking away from God. Until life and GOD lead me to this church. And through God, this church, pastor Steve, Dave and this book of the Bible my life was restored. I learned to forgive. And began the long process of learning to love. I thank God for saving me with the blood of Jesus Christ my Lord. I am thankful for His Word, the Bible, that teaches how to live a life pleasing to him and best for us. If only we would pray, read and study! I am so thankful to have been lead to this church family. May GOD continue to bless Pastor Steve as he teaches GOD's Word, saving more lives.

I can't believe I just saw this now! New life in Christ is beyond comparison to anything "new" that's of this world. How I long for others to been shown this truth and to start living life the way God intended!
Nice explanation, because i was showing and Jehovah's Witness how Jesus Christ is God in flesh, comparing old testament and new testament and he then brought up this scripture to me and when i read it, it sounded as tho it was talking about Jesus and i know for sure that Jesus was never created he was always with is Father along with the Holy Spirit...so as I was doing some research i came up on this video and i mush say this is good knowledge.

Pastor Steve, I used to travel regularly to Europe 2000-2005 and everywhere I went there were beautiful churches, but they were always empty. Very striking to me. Now, I cannot believe the parallels between the kingdom in Habakkuk's time and our current time here in the US. It breaks my heart. Jeannie

What a beautiful transition from judgment of unbelief to the call of Christ to lay our burdens down. Very encouraging and timely!
