This channel is dedicated to game camera wildlife videos and photos. Most of my videos are shot on game cameras located on our suburban ten acre homestead in central Oklahoma. I began with one camera to view around my bee hives. That's when I discovered we had a really diverse population of wildlife and got to see them interact with each other. We have whitetail deer with several very nice bucks, coyotes, foxes, bobcats, raccoons, and also I get some amazing bird shots like the hawk after the squirrel that went viral on the Oklahoma Department of Wildlife Conservation site. Bucks growing their felt horns, does with their new fawns, bobcats hunting in pairs, foxes carrying their latest catch. Thanks for stopping in, enjoy.

Great pics of Bambi and mother lol.
Thanks Kajun. Have a nice weekend.
When mama doe was cleaning the fawn's ears I'm remembering my mom telling us to watch behind your ears. LOL What a cute little fawn there with an attitude.
Yeah, boy, she was cleaning it up pretty good. I wonder if it's a buck or doe. Thanks for watching.
Great video. Same as all youngsters, the fawns have too much energy for Mama to keep up with. 🙃 Thanks for sharing. 👍👍👏👏🇺🇲🇺🇲
Thanks Gerard. Yeah, that little sucker was a frolicking for sure. LOL
Fantastic captures of the young wildlife! ❤ 👍 enjoyed
Thanks TCNE. Have a nice weekend!
MUNCH Munch munch... those deer are eating everything including my flowers for the bees. Planted huge patches of bachelor buttons which the bees adore but the patch planted by the woods are being munched, patch by the house are fine but have to fight the goldfinch for the seed heads. We've been without rain for about 6 weeks and the forecast is another two weeks without - might get a sprinkle next week. Temps up in the upper 90's. So seems like we are going into an early dearth and the major flow was ruined by the last rains and cool weather so hardly any honey to harvest and the bees are not capping it off due to lack of flow/rain. Going to be feeding just to keep the bees alive. Managed to get a mite treatment in but if they go robbing it will have been wasted money. Oh well what ya gonna do? Wow that feral kitty? is a mighty hunter and her kittens look well fed!
Hey Nancy. Seems like whatever we plant, somthing else eats it that it was intended for. lol I feed lots of cantelope and mellons to the raccoons. This year I revamped my electric fence net, so hopefully it will hit them like a lightning bolt. Getting dry here as well. Sounds like we've gotten a little more rain than you. I'm at 3.37" on the month so far. Bees are busy, but slowing significantly. Hopoing to harvest 2nd week of July. Good luck and hope you get more than you expect!
Ya got that velvet just a shining tho it will Not be on there much longer . We use to build a wood box bottom an mount to a tree to keep the other animals from pissing all over it an I would also put out mineral blocks out for the animals to enjoy. Looks like it is going to be a active season. Thanks
Hey Kathy. That's a good idea to elevate the salt block. I may build a ground stand for them. I got some new Jurassic Rocks, but yet to put them out. I'm good at purchasing, and follow thru/installation, not so much. lol Thanks for watching.
Enjoyed seeing the notched ear velvet buck! 👍
Thanks Hunting Farmer. He's a nice one for sure. Thanks for watching.
Was that four bobcat kittens at the end?? They look so cute and good tree climbers. Happy Father's Day Darren. Hope it is a good one.
Those looked like regular cats with long tails, lots of people dump unwanted cats out in the country and they turn into wild (feral cats). Bobcats and Lynx both have short stubby tails.
@@Bowhunters6go8xz6x you are right. My smaller screen makes it hard to see all the details. But the tails throw me.
Hey RUssell. No, those were just plain ole cats. Not a lot of activity in May, so I thought it was cool to add it in there. Thanks for watching!
Big cat eating big rats. Slash is gonna be monster this fall. Coon kittens showing up here. I have an electric fence charger on the posts of the bird feeders. They will tear up everything. I even had to tie the grill lid closed. Thanks for sharing. 👍👍👏👏🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲
Haven't seen slash since this video. He must have moved on down to the river. Got olots of little coons here as well..
Sounds like a nest full of soon to be fledglings demanding dinner!
Hey Nancy. It could be. We've always had a lot of barred owls around here, along with the red shouldered hawks. Thanks for watching!
Was that also a Coyote yapping with the Owl call?
I didn't notice, but quite possible. I haven't seen much of the coyotes or bobcats since the weather turned warm. More for them to eat elsewhere I suppose.
Early Warning System, thank you, Ma Nature. What were those other (bird?) sounds??
Believe it or not but they are all owl sounds; a type of call and response. I have some living around me in central Florida.
Hi John. I think it was all barred owls.
Can't take the flashing.
That's the only one like this. That's from the photographer who set up a camera trap.

I'm surprised that the squirrel🐿 crossed the log while an owl 🦉was on it🤣

I like the velvet buck with a notched ear 😁👍
Hey Hunting Farmer. His name is Slash. He's been around here for a few years and is the star of the show. He's been featured on Outdoor Oklahoma by Todd Craighead. Thanks for watching.
Such cool footage
Thanks man, how's it going down there?
@@gamecamwildlife9158 Muggy
I bet.
Birds were hamming it up for April! Those owls were neat, not often one gets to see them. And a hawk doing a duck imitation is priceless - suspect the hawk was going after a frog! Roadrunner showing off his catch and on the alert for something! Keep the videos coming!
Hey Nancy. Yeah, lots of fowl this time. Haven't seen bobcats for almost two months now. That road runner is hard on lizards. lol Yeah, I think that red sholder hawk was going for a frog. If it would have triggered just a second sooner, we may have seen it. Thanks for watching.
So Slash is back. He is either very lucky or very smart to live that long. He has passed on some good genes over the years and you should have some nice bucks for a long time. His sons may start to challenge him this year?? Have a good weekend
Hey Russell. Yeah, ole Slash is back looks like. He's getting up there in years for a deer for sure. Funny how much smaller they look after they lose their winter coat. I figure the younger bucks will be getting most of the action before long.
Good show. Healthy wildlife. Especially the birds are eating well. That old buck is going to have a massive spread this year. Thanks for sharing. 👍👍👏👏🇺🇲
Hey Gerard. Yeah, lots of fowl shots. lol Activity has been lower going into summer. No bobcats for almost two months now.
Cool to see the squirrel and owl together in the same shot! Coons don't seem to like the new photo ops!
Yeah, I didn't notice that owl at first. I'll have to save that one in the best shots folder.
Wondering if the camera is making a noise when rapidly snapping pictures, not a mechanical shutter noise like old traditional cameras but maybe an electronic click or something else because some of the animals (racoons and foxes mainly) seemed to react negatively at times when the pictures are being taken and it happened on different days/nights.
I'm not sure. It was an older Nikon. I think it was a mechanical shutter. It definitely got their attention. The deer were a little spooked as well.
I think your animals just live being on the camera. They are wanting to be movie stars. Thanks
I think you are right! LOL
my comment was about the other squirrel breed that we have in Europe. They are lovely red in color and a third in size. They have the same temperament, somehow they always quarrel. They are losing the battle with your grey squirrels, they lack the defense against a virus that I believe has crossed over from the nordic hare. In Britain they really try to save them, they are left on one island and some smaller areas on the main island. Back to the color, they also exist in near to black plus they have wintercoats, but never similar to the color of yours. I will restrain myself from similar lectures in the future!
I've seen pictures and videos of those squirrels. Their hair is longer too if I remembr right. They are really pretty. Too bad the greys are taking over. Hard to stop a rodent species from spreading once they get going.
7 point
Hey Donald. Thanks for watching and commenting.
I'd guess 11 points. As they get older the rack size often decreases. It will be a nice rack for sure though.
Hey Russell. Yeah, He hasn't been back to the 13-14 point glory that he had a few years back. lol Probably a good guess.
A tree hugging squirrel! Seems like one mean doe there! Had a hummingbird show up at my computer window today... looked me right in the eye and demanded some sugary syrup so I got right on it! Slash is looking quite gimpy and looks like he is sporting another slash on his other ear as well. Beautiful shot on those Northern Flickers don't often get to see their hidden colors! 16 points for Slash!
Yeah, Mrs. Slash and that other doe get a little grumpy. lol We've seen hummingbirds as well around the flower beds. We need to get our feeders out. I think Slash may be getting some arthritis in his hips. I've noticed him limping a bit from time to time. Thanks for guessing Slash's rack! Take care.
15 points this year
Good guess, we'll see. I have some Jurasic Rock minerals I need to get put out there for the bucks. Thanks for watching.
Fantastic footage, really cool seeing the roadrunner, seems that squirrel is just begging to be eaten by the hawk by picking a fight with him. Enjoyed the episode! Thanks for sharing 👍 ( slash a 16 point rack)?
Thanks TCNE. Those road runners are pretty cool. Thanks for guessing the Slash rack. Take care.
Good show. Slash got some buttons. I always enjoy seeing the roadrunner. And, that is one ballsy squirrel being aggressive towards the hawk. Thanks for sharing. 👍👍👏👏🇺🇲
Yeah, that was a month ago. I haven't seen him in a while, I bet they are getting fairly long now. Thanks for watching Gerard.
Muy bueno
Thank you.
I left acomment for this video and it is gone. did I insult somebody or is my laptop ready for the big sleep Think the video is great!
Hey Erik. Sometimes CZcams tags a key word and puts it in a held for review bucket - I'll see if it's in there.
I didn't see it in the held for review bucket - it must not have posted for some reason. Thanks for watching and commenting.
If I hadn't seen it I would of had a hard time believing it. LOL Tough squirrel.
Not so tough. LOL
Hawk probably going after babies in the nest!
Yeah, I bet you are right.
That’s a little backwards 😂😂
LOL, yeah, not so tough!
😂 Offense is the best defense. Smart squirrel.
Hey Gerard. Yeah, he had the bluff in on the hawk. lol
Preciosa ardilla 🐿
Fantastic!! I wouldn't have guessed a squirrel would do that. Bet she's a mama.
Hey John. Yeah, they are nesting right now. Should be a bunch of little ones soon. Crows will get their little ones as well.
Great video from a new subscriber. I wish we could do that with our cameras but the bears are a much bigger concern for external wires than the raccoons. They hit my first camera within 24 hours and chewed on it for 6 days before it stopped working. Now they all go in security cases.
Thanks Wildplaces. Fortunately we don't have any bears around here. A black bear showed up a couple years ago about 20 miles east of us. They darted him and took him back to SE Oklahoma where there are plenty around there.
Hahahaha loved the Roadrunner soundtrack ! @ 0:35 You have some big fat Mourning Doves on this video, they must have stayed for the winter, normally they migrate down into South America for winters.
Hey Bowhunters. I think here are a few that overwinter, but most go south out of here. Yeah, I couldn't resist the beep; beep! LOL Thanks for watching.
I did not like the road runner sound effect! Just my opinion though. But the camera kept me interested. So, I gave a thumbs up! I would rather hear the natural sounds with a word on the screen for identification. Young people may not even be familiar with the old road runner cartoons! lol And Mr. Wiley coyote! Thanks for sharing your footage with us! A wonderful location!
@promesspect2 Yeah, I don't do that often. I prefer the natural sounds. I figured it was early in the video and would wake folks up. LOL, and thanks for the thumbs.
So what did the fox have ahold of this time?
Hey Nancy. I'm not sure what that was. Looked like a giant biscuit. LOL One of my neighbors must have left that out. I sure didn't recognize it. When we have stuff like that, it goes to the chickens. Thanks for watching!
@@gamecamwildlife9158 For sure, Animals lose their fear of people when we feed them. That is very bad if coyotes are around. Very good that you made the distinction, There is a huge problem in the suburbs with coyotes being too brave, and killing pets. While I am surrounded by coyotes, but they are well and truly afraid, and thus safer from us. Our dogs and cats are safer too. Out here you have to have a big strong dog to keep them away from our homes and yards. Coyotes are vital really as an alpha predator, a much needed one too. Every thing has a niche in a healthy ecosystem.
@@primesspct2 We have a dog named Yote that patrols the area and keeps them away. Unfortunately he likes to chase the deer as well. They don't seem to mind though, they keep coming back.
Whooo!! That's getting to be quite a herd/harem ol' Slash is collecting back there!
Yeah seven does in that bunch. I wonder if any of them are his offspring.
Muy bueno
Thanks for watching!
Hummm price of all that protective measure vs the cost of local eggs!? I know, I know the chickens become like family- have some of my own. Lately there have been bears are on the move here in PA ripping hives open or coming too lose for comfort. Thankfully not in my area (yet) had a bear pass thorugh last year but he didn't do any damage.
Yeah, price of eggs, I'm probably about to break even. lol Luckilly no bears here yet. There's some to the east, but quite a ways. We do have mountain lions, but they are considered migratory. I'd love to see one of those some time.
Thanks for sharing. 👍👍👏👏🇺🇲
Thanks Gerard. Have a nice weekend.
Fantastic captures of all the bobcats! Thanks for sharing 👍 enjoyed watching! That coyote definitely 💯 found him / her a good size snack 👍 👍
Thanks TCNE. That was a grey fox with a rabbit snack. Enjoy those bobcats, very little in March. lol Thanks for watching.
