Like and Subscribe Animation Showreel
A collection of the "Like & Subscribe" animations I've used in some of my videos. Just for context, they would be overlaid on a video, so the background is actually fully transparent, but I made it black jus for the purposes of this video.
I've also added some sound to make this more entertaining to watch.
Most of them were rendered at 30FPS, but my videos are recorded at 60FPS, so I had to slow them down for this compilation.

Blender Tutorial - Making Footprints - Super Easy

A quick guide on having a character create footprints as he/she moves through mud, snow or whatever. • @pmdesigns5798
      @pmdesigns5798 Před 9 dny

      Depends what you mean by quick... You can easily append the material into your new file or assign it to a new head/character very quickly. You would just have to sort out the empties (controllers) so that they are aligned with the new head.

    One of my intro practices with self teaching blender and animation is to make a hand and do basic hand gestures with it. I don't know why I'd never considered using the riggify bones, seems obvious in retrospect, but one thing i have done that's useful is to forgo most of the "complicated" modeling and instead immulate a posable mechanical hand used in drawing references instead, so mostly just ball joints instead of a single model. It helps elevate my novice looking animations go from a deforming mess to a relatively good looking robot lol. But then again i prefer the "puppet" aesthetic atm, others would prob think it looks ugly

    Have you compared the results of this method compared to rendering as video directly with the keyframes on a constant interpolation ? I'm assuming it would be pretty much identical, but I'm wondering if there's benefits with rendering as images for stop motion in Blender, aside from being able to re-render a specific frame.

    • @pmdesigns5798
      @pmdesigns5798 Před 2 měsíci

      I haven't, but I feel that this is faster. You don't need to manually input as many keyframes, and you can still decide to switch to 1s if you wanted to have a fast/sudden action, as in real stop-motion animation. Edit* Also, it's never a good idea to render as video directly. If it crashes, you have to start from scratch. If there's a problem with one frame, you have to render it all over again. I can't think of any advantage of rendering directly to video, other than it saves you 2 minutes of work in a video sequencer/editor.

    • @pmdesigns5798
      @pmdesigns5798 Před 2 měsíci

      It's a difficult question to answer because everyone is different. I've been using blender for about 4 years. But that's part-time. I'm also a father and work full-time, so if you have a lot of free time, you can practise a lot more. I've never trained in art or any 3D software, so if you have experience/training in either of those, that will also decrease the time needed to get good. There are a lot of aspects to learn - modelling, rigging, texturing, to name a few), so pick one and get that down first. Don't overload yourself trying to learn every aspect at once. Just keep at it! Do some tutorials to get the basics down, and then just try setting yourself some targets. Once you've thought of something to make, try doing it with what knowledge you currently have. If you come to something you can't do, find out how to do that part. The blenderartists weekend challenge is a great way to get inspiration, if you're not sure what to make. Would love to see you involved in the next weekend challenge.
