I might try making more gun reviews and I might not, who knows.
What’s better than an M1A?
This isn’t a short but almost, perhaps a medium.
It’s advertising, look at it.
If you like this advertisement there’s a longer version on my channel.
I don’t have much content, I also don’t have hardly any free time. So if you watch one of my terrible videos just remember I made it after work or on the weekend between all of my chores, family time, and broken projects.
Your welcome xoxo

Not sure which M1A to get? Let me make the decision for you. Trust me, I’m old.

Are these outdated rifles that belong to old people and can't compete in today’s market? Or was your Grandpa right? "New rifles are made for sissies." Let’s try these and see if we can figure out how to use them without shooting my eye out. #M1A SOCOM 16 Scout Squad 18 Standard Issue 22 -Rifles www.springfield-armory.com/m1a-series-rifles/ -Optic www.opticsplanet.com/vortex-opmod-strike-eagle-1...

I’m not a gun guy, so I googled the hell out of “300 blackout 18 eggs at a hundred feet per second.” (07:46). What did you really say there?
That’s what I should have said! What I really said was, “here’s regular 300 blackout 1800-1900 feet per second.” Sounded like a bug flew in my mouth. What I should do is build as accurate a round as I can and then see if I can hit 18 eggs at 100 yds. The standard rounds I was using were not incredibly accurate.
@@ForgettableVids that’s so weird, it doesn’t sound like 18 eggs at a hundred feet per second any more. I swear I ran it back 30 times. Heck, I even slowed it down. Side note: I have laying chickens…
You had egg’s on the mind! And to make it even weirder our chicken’s laid their first egg today. I’m a chicken noob so it’s pretty exciting. We put one of those fake eggs in the nesting box and one of them laid theirs right next to it. This is like an X Files case.
I really enjoyed watching. What an incredible background there 😊
Thank you, I just want these videos to be entertaining.
Thought I was gonna really learn something
Did you know which rifle was which at the beginning?
I bet he didn't that's why he said that. He probably kept saying the wrong ones...
I just uploaded another useless video of leftover footage, sorry…. But I wanted you to know that in my next video I’m going do dedicate a segment to interesting information. I want everyone to like my videos and if that means I have to learn thing’s so be it.
stay positive!
Sometimes bad mistakes can have positive outcomes. You have a very good point!
I'll stick with 556.
556 is awesome don’t get me wrong. It’s just that the AUG is the only rifle I know of that can change calibers with just one button. And being the huge nerd that I am I had to take advantage of it.
I got the 300blk barrel and just fyi in the non nato “original” version the round I want don’t work reliably… liberty ammunition 300blk overwatch it fails to feed when laying into your trigger. Getting advanced trigger springs to see if that helps at all..
This must be the Steyr barrel? The way they word it on the Steyr website it sounds like those springs are almost mandatory for subsonic. I should find some of that ammo. I am tempted to get the barrel to compare but if I have to get springs that cancels the entire quick caliber change. Unless I buy another trigger pack with the light springs installed. The pack is pretty quick to change but now you’re carrying one more thing. Enough mods and we almost have a second rifle. Dual wield is the answer.
Yes indeed the steyer option. I love that you have content on the variety available to the Aug. knowing there are options I can run and do research with is great to know so thanks for your content on your a3m1 setup. Yes they claim the most velocity out of any super on the market. Only 98 grain I believe. Im only a rookie with all this but I was thinking the overall length of the projectile and case are just so slightly to shorty, the 2 boxes I’ve shot jammed feeding. Failure to feeds I believe. So I’m trying the Hornady 110 c max and I’m ordering some black hills 110 tts I believe they are called. I just want a good defensive SuperSonic round I can shoot out of my setup! Ps.. you can’t please em all but I’d watch another Aug video🤷🏼
AUG content. You have my respect. You do have a good voice for talking tho
It’s only a good morning if yer fishin’ the rest the time it’s just mornin’
Yes yes of course
it bothers us because we're poor
As an austrian Ex-Gebirgsjäger who was trained at the StG77(Steyr AUG) it's strange to me to see you handling that gun. But it's cool that more and more people pick up the AUG, it's a mighty fine weapon. The help you out on the journey of learning: What you have in your hands there is an assault rifle designed for the end of the world. When we fight in freezing cold in the wet forests of the alps, there is no better weapon. The base is that solid that even if all your batteries go out and all your gadgets stopped working, you are still left with an accurate assault rifle that will shoot and hit.
I believe it!
So a Schaß ...
Makes me want one....
Is that south eastern Oregon?
😶🌫️ it’s Top Secret. But from the videos I’m hoping to make I’m sure some fellow explorers will recognize the area. 🤫
Ahahah nice!
I have been wanting the Sig MCX Tacops in 300blk as my home defense weapon for a long time. I should note that I'm a glock guy, so now that I know the Aug is available in 300blk, I no longer want the MCX Tacops.
I agree with your decision. And you probably have a G21 so getting a pistol length .300blk would be of no real benefit. Unless it’s just for your collection. I support collections.
Earplugs in earplugs out, same with eye protection......... you're a big boy and should be aware of the consequences, you can do what you like and if you need to listen to someone nanny you then maybe you shouldn't own guns. So I'm quite happy to take care of them for you 😁
lol
Thats the suppressor i know that a guy owns. Its super quiet!! Sub 300 blk out.... pshhhh
Greetings from Austria. What a cool setup! I had an A1 in 1999 while in the service, before the MG3 (even more fun to shoot), and the AUG is such an easy and well balanced rifle to train on. Perfect for conscripts, as intended. Super reliable and fun. Enjoy!
I’d be a little scared being around this gun when he has a gun in his hands
If my gun had hands I’d be scared too.
This guy thinks guns kill people lol
@@ForgettableVids around this guy not gun but seeing as you can’t hit your target within 60 yards maybe I wouldn’t be too worried
See, nothing to worry about.
Bro sight that thing in missing 3 out of 5 withing 60 yards is terrible . More than capable
Lol, we aren’t all Choats. Sorry I don’t meet your expectations.
Bro I wondered when you put your can on if you got it on all the way looks like you already have baffle strikes within 60 rounds . Thats rough but you can tell you’re inexperienced with all this by your wordage. Referring to 556 with 5.6 or saying sonic rounds instead of super or sub sonic. Or referring it point of impact by just saying point
Hey Ryan, I’ve lived in troll town since Al Gore invented the internet. Nice of you to visit. I suggest you work on your content for the next time you stumble into town. Love you👬
One thing about us shade tree mechanics is that we gonna find a way regardless lmao might have to create a whole new wrench but it’ll get done believe that, something about the urgency of “this won’t run until I get done” just motivates you to find any way possible to get done 😂
don't know how shade tree this technique is though was taught to me by a journeyman diesel instructor
big deal. my pop taught me that in the ‘70’s
I wish I had a dad 🥺
And where were you!? I had to wait for this video to learn this!!!
Easier to just put a wobble socket on the ratchet 💯🤷♂️
What if I'm too poor to afford a wabble!?
@@Sawcemonster lol you can get cheap wobble sockets
When I get youtube famous I will buy everyone wobblys. Just like Oprah.
Won't get that time back😢
If you like and subscribe I will build you a time machine.
Let’s hope the bolt can come out without hitting it now too low
Hear of a wobble? NOT!
Using a wobbly is not Alpha. “Oh excuse me I just need to squeeze past, sorry.” I go strait for the throat like a wolverine.
I bet this guy has an impact too like a nerd
hit it with your purse
My purse was too small
How about a box end wrench? This is a joke right?
Um….. I’m an alpha male, power or nothing.
Is ThIs A jOkE lol

@@ForgettableVidsnah I need him first, this dude tried welding his pinion gear, need help getting this thing off
Oh yeah no prob. He can get that thing off right quick
@@logan12satcom83 no, might need my 11 year old
@@logan12satcom83 Nah, might need my 11 year old for that.
Combination wrench will solve that problem! 😂
Nice setup. A not so Normal Thing
Thank You!
that steel target being pinged so close to the camera gave me anxiety about it getting schwacked by spalling
Well Fupus since I never make mistakes you can relax. Just don’t watch the M1A video. My replacement GoPro case is on order.
What optic is that?
Primary Arms ACSS AURORA
@@ForgettableVids Thank you
To be fair it's exclusively a CQC weapon , 50 yards and under is what it was designed for. When I saw that first target group I thought something must be loose, maybe the new barrel needs seasoning .
I agree 100% and what I didn’t mention in the video was that it seemed to be tightening up more and more as the barrel collected some copper fouling. Normally I don’t seriously sight in my barrels before 100rnds. I would have touched on it but I used all the ammo just seeing if I would get any leaks around the gas port. That was my main concern. However if you noticed towards the end when I was just having fun I was able to hit the 12” gong shooting .300 offhandedly at 100, 75, and 50 yds with the optic sighted for 5.56 @ 100yds. Which, in my humble opinion is very impressive for a barrel designed just for showing off in front of your poor suppressorless friends.
❤❤You need to re zero when you put a new barrel on ,do you really know much of what your doing ,,,because the boring nerd science stuff will be the difference between you knowing what your doing and not having a clue what your doing ,,your one of these people who will end up hurting yourself because you domt know much about guns.sorry just sayin.
Thank you I didn’t know that. I am pretty new to firearms.
What happened is the barrel needs to manufactured the inner chamber at one side, other side will be the chamfer where the bullet gose out to reduce the gas burn. And what is wrong is when they are trying to drill the gas port hole they put it wrong side (the chamber side ) of the machine, drilled a severed depth, and they find out it was so wrong they stoped the drilling process, cutting out the surface that is equal to the drilled depth. That’s it. And the barrel life is a statistic related data, usually the spread increase percentage or chances to shoot keyholes. It’s no mean that 50 rounds barrel life it is gonna explode.
love it❤
Did you have a favorite one?
Yes
@@ForgettableVids which one did you like the best?
@coyoba1 I haven’t decided for certain yet. It depends on how the accuracy tests go. It’s difficult because .308 would generally be for longer ranges but even the short Socom tames it to the point that you feel like it’s 5.56. At the moment the only thing I am certain of is that this rifle was made for mayhem.
Freaking rad! Love the M1A. I should buy one
The AUG is cool don’t get me wrong. Has a nostalgic vibe from the 90’s action movies but for some reason I just can’t bring myself to like a Bullpup. As someone who’s been spoiled on the AR platform it would be hard for me to choose any other platform. Still, like I say the AUG will always have that cool factor and definitely interesting seeing them in 300blk. I didn’t even know they made them in 300blk.
Sounds like I need to make a Bullpup vs AR video here soon.
Lucky bastard wish I could easily legally own semi automatic rifles in Australia 👍
I have legally owned aug a2 z in Kazakhstan for the second year, moreover, I read that many people in Russia own aug rifles, I can't believe that in Australia you can't legally buy yourself such a rifle
@@i-tunes2025read up on Port Arthur massacre 1996. That's what ended semi auto ownership in Australia
@@Mr-Damage I just read this, never knew about it. It’s very sad to read this, it’s a pity that this happened, because of such psychos, normal firearms enthusiasts get banned. Regret
Holy shit! 59 rounds that's fuckin rough
Yeah, I was a little disappointed to say the least.
Amazing advice! 👏
I’m here to help any way I can.
nice scenery, where do you film this one?
Well…. I mean no offense by this but the locations I will try and film are only beautiful and available because they are somewhat unknown. Sadly it seems whenever we have something nice it ends up destroyed or sold to someone from out of state, privatized, fenced and gated.
@@ForgettableVids well, you don't have to be very specific, maybe can just tell the state and which part of it...for me it looks like it's somewhat closer to west coast, maybe AZ or NV ?
@@ForgettableVidswhile I definitely understand, that’s how we are here in Ky with hunting spots and fishing holes😂 but I think they meant the area like what state? Not the city, county and GPS coordinates 😂👍
I also wanted a sandman s. After owning several supressors I no longer care for my sandman s or k.
Which ones do you prefer now? Or what is your favorite? I have no experience with others. I’d like to get my hands on a CGS Hyperion but that won’t be happening any time soon.
@@ForgettableVids I have a flow 556k that I really enjoy. And a diligent defense enticer s that’s so much quieter on .300 than my sandman. My yhm turbo k is better on 556 than my sandman k and it’s a way cheaper can. I just think dead air is behind in any aspect of supressors you choose to measure. There’s quieter lighter cheaper supressors on the market these days.
Also my sandman k blew up this weekend at a slightly above average firing schedule. Launched downrange into muddy cow shit water and took several days to locate.
@@husky701rider9I thought they were rated for that! That would make me frustrated also. Well, I guess I will have to wait and see what happens with this one. It’s going to be used on several different items so it’s going to get a workout. At the moment I’m quite happy with it vs having nothing.
Get an otter creek polonium, you won’t regret it. This goes for anyone reading this!
What brand ist vor brass catcher?
It is an Amazon Special. Feyachi FE690031006080 I love it.
Interesting - not much POI shift at 100 yards. Can't wait to get the 300 BLK barrell for mine.
Yes, and thats just shooting wildly offhand. I’m certain it’s not dead on but I also didn’t get it to use as a long gun. I bought it because it’s totally awesome.
