Rimworld is probably better this game, this game has multiple things that make it a time waster. No eat schedule, as soon as you hit 10 colonists suddenly they can't handle the same amount of max priorities, the day is too short, power is so wierd as well as production costs and wire values . As soon as you hit 10 colonists they also refuse to dig, if you had 5 somehow they would expand without max priority dig (without peeing everywhere) making hard to reach the oil. So you can easily restart because you feel no one is doing anything useful. I dunno how all of these streamers seem to mine out 2x of me when I have like 1.5 more colonists and they get excavation skill points. Don't get me started on that dumb people of liquid vents getting infected every day. Maybe would have been more suitable for multiplayer like anno

The best part about fanatic is that if you pick a certain name you can get a chest piece, for example "bob" gives you bobs armor.

What I like the most with these kinds of games is the stupidity, the feeling you get during the late game, where you build srupid megaprojects for no good reason is always enjoyable

The game is extremely hard without a wiki explaining ratios, thresolds and such. Also, when you look at the most popular designs, like the liquid lock, they mostly "cheat" out the game design. And not using them is punishing. Saying it is genius is exageration.

Nah, I don't like ONI. Main thing that annoys me is inconsitency in numbers that it uses. Dissapearing mass, appearing mass and the need of infinite sources to fix something that would be fixed by holding on to rules of physics.

In almost every other game if you need to place a toilet or shower for your little video game people, the game is like "no no don't you worry, I have lines of code built in that will organize all the incoming clean water and outgoing dirty water for you, just relax and have fun". In Oxygen Not Included its like if you were to IRL take your broken car to a mechanic but they say to you "I'll tell you what's wrong with your car and then hand you some great tools, but I'm going to sit here with a beer and watch you 'fix' it yourself"

personally, the maceman is the most balanced class in the game, along with swordsman and the axeman is also pretty good if you know how to play it

Look I love ONI, and Mod the heck out of it to get more enjoyment for more games. However. Other then starting at different asteroids, you have the same plan on each, whats available and how do I use it to get to end game where I dont care about whats available anymore only how to get it to point B from A. So in reality, each game is not that different from game to game, there is a pattern of similar issues/needs no matter what game you play. Granted, some minor issues may differ game to game. But that difference is very very small in the over arching problems you have before you. Dont get me wrong, I would play the same asteroid (same general asteroid not the same seed #) over and over and still love this game. Modding has made this even more enjoyable for more gaming, that ONI is an alway installed game at this point.
