As an avid investor, I often mull over how accomplished investors are able to amass fortunes through their investment endeavors. Presently, I hold equity exceeding $545K from a recent home sale, yet I'm uncertain about my next investment move. Should I consider buying stocks at this time, or should I await another opportunity?

Undeniably factual. Despite my absence of prior investing acumen, I ventured into investments pre-pandemic and managed to amass a profit of about $450k within that year. Essentially, I solely relied on professional counsel.

I regret not having the mental capacity to research each company's performance and determine whether now is a good time to buy stocks or not. My $450,000 reserve is being wiped out by inflation, and I'm not sure what to do at this point, to be honest. You should find a mentor or an experienced advisor to help you, particularly during this recession.

I agree, which is why I prefer having an investment coach handle my day-to-day decisions. Given that their entire skill set revolves around using risk for its asymmetrical upside and laying it off as a hedge against the inevitable downward turns, coupled with the unique information and analysis they have, it is virtually impossible for them to underperform. I've been using an investment coach for more than two years and have made over $1.5 million.

It’s also interesting that Venture, the asset class was inflated due to rates /liquidity - it’s also interesting Sequoia Capital only returned $50M on $800M for the UC system since 2018, which was low. As a young student who has pitched to firms I was surprised because Seq was full of incredibly smart folks, I can only imagine what other venture funds will return especially those that end their fund life post 2023 - esp with the markdowns.
