Danke 👍🏼
no
cant believe they named a tree after a playboi carti song
thought they wer bullets
I love the bogwood ❤
Without bringing up "BIG CRAYON" Crayola or whatever, why should one use your expensive crayons that barely look like they leave any trace on the page?
I absolutely love how this video went from "failed innovative product" to "lego fashion show"
Can glow in the dark work?
There is no such thing as too much trees The only problem is too much humans.
11:37 As a Brazilian I had the impression that it would be mentioned lol but by Brazilwood (Paubrasilia echinata) for its red color. Yes, it is a threat of extinction so another alternative was brought up. Wonderful project!
I was super excited to find out more, but then I realized I don't give a fvck. And really, if we were part of a sane society. Most other people wouldn't either. But alas, 14m views for... I'm not even sure how to describe it. Who TF cares, it's just a LEGO stapler. It literally has no baring on anything that has ever existed, exists or will exist, times 1 bilion less and multiplying that by 2,3x quantum leaps into oblivion.
6:53 I am watching this while laying on that exact seal plushie!
kms barcodes don't work
treeyons
the pigment is not great.
Arent you devaluing art made with standard commercialy available pigments sources by labeling them as dull
It would be great to add fragrance to the crayons. A minty herbal scent to some of the greener colors. A tea scent to the browner colors. Floral for the lighter...etc
It's really cool, and I'm probably going to buy a set for myself, but the particle size of the pigment is too large. Which leads to very little color actually working into the paper.
Look terrible to draw with tho
this isnt grian
Fym Japan has too many trees
$43 dollars is ridiculous
🤨🤨🤔😓👍👍Giz De Cera 🖍🖍
We are missing way to many trees on this Planet
Lego needs to bring this back, and ask for your help to make it better because I would pay for this!
Thoise things have so little pigment they leave translucent skids reminiscent of shit stains,
just one problem, your sample drawings make it clear that wood dust makes for a crap pigment. what you have is a novelty product. In the range of hues you can get from wood, traditional clay based pigments appear to be better in every way.
This is a fun concept, but won't have much impact on overall wood usage. Demand for crayons isn't that high.
I've seen those crayons at the Dutch Design week 2 years ago. They looked really nice in person. The wooden color really gave them a lot of warmth
i thought those were rifle ammo
there's no such thing as too many trees
Is that Lego mario kart live home double dash labo?
3:05 foreshadowing
they look great, but they also draw like shit
CZcams recommended me this and watching it for not even 30 seconds I already have about 10 ideas
WHAT In their last video (reinventing the humble deck of cards) T 3:05 when they talk about what you could use to draw on the cards the example they use for crayons is the cedar crayon from this video. That video was released a year ago. How long are these videos in production for?!
Im hoping you will get some new colors. As ones of my favorites are excluded here.
ewww that texture (┬┬﹏┬┬) am gonna puke
matpat ''wood'' just make a bunch of icecream
send some to @raedizzle
an idea: the ability of a make-your-own-crayon kit with many types of wood dusts that people can mix together and play and/or fool around with, and then using the original prism shaped crayons, we could make this something fun!
This is already 4 months old but i feel like you never actually went from "art piece" to "product", even the final iteration remains unusable for any realistic application because the pigment has almost no opacity and would rather come off in chunks than stick to the paper. You've answered to multiple comments arguing the same thing : that they "aren't what we've come to be used to", and while this would perhaps be true if your audience was 7 year olds, it's not so for the part that is composed of actual artists, the problem isn't the color of the crayons themselves, they're perfectly fine, they just aren't fit for being used as crayons, because they have no coverage, which isn't the same as having a natural color, something you'd acknowledge if you weren't deadset on being disingenuous and selling the luxury crayons as a product. They are closer to conceptual art piece than a tool, and you do not need to lie about it
wait so now trees are bad?
china already wants to fight you. i wouldn’t mention the wood
