**About me!**
Hi I'm David! i'm a videographer and now, an app developer!
I'm hoping to raise enough money to launch a social media app that both the seeing and vision impaired can use!
**Welcome to spelled XtabY!**
This app was designed and developed as an original, intuitive, and streamlined social media platform for the visually impaired, and many other people as well. Those who cannot see will miss nothing. Those who can see, will marvel at the ability to carry on a social media experience without a reliance on visuals. That is to say, there are no photos, or videos in XtabY. It is a completely audio and tactile based experience.
Here’s how to use the XtabY.
While visual cues will appear in the video, seeing them is unnecessary. The finger movements are all swipes and taps and holds which you already know how to utilize. The only thing that has to be learned is the location on the phone in which to execute them.
XtabY utilizes voice prompts but does NOT, I repeat, does NOT make use of voice commands. This is because voice commands are unreliable and prohibit the user from privacy and the ability to navigate in environments which incorporate high noise floors and levels.

It’s the same track, the reason being they needed music since the Kingdom of Heaven scene is actually a deleted scene and never intended for wide distribution.
THANK YOU!
Great voice!!
Goldsmith died that year. It was a homage to him.
A great ode to Goldsmith from Gregson-Williams. Goldsmith had died in 2004 before this film was released. I really thought it was a breath of fresh air and a wonderful nod to a legendary composer. Plus, I mean, come on... The 13th Warrior score is juuuust legendary.
Great job
please bring this place back to life, great memories.
❤CONGRATULATIONS, VLAD, AKIKO, JULIA!!!❤
This is very exciting!!! Congrats, Vlad!!!
Beautiful trailer about an amazing book! Can't wait to read it!
both great movies
Really beautiful. Thank you for sharing.
Sometimes I listen to this theme to hype myself up and when I watched “kingdom of heaven” for the first time I thought my speakers were randomly playing the theme
Tarantino uses melodies of several movies in his 🤷
They probably own the music or score now. It was perfect for both scenes whosever it’s is.
I was drunk last night watching kingdom of heaven and I thought that score is from 13th warrior. I have watched both movies multiple times and only realised this pissed as a fart!
To be honest, this could be in every heroic moment in any movie ever and I would be ok with it.
The music towards the end of the movie (final battle day 2) reminds me of gladiator… the opening battle in Germania (or maybe the recreation of the battle of cartridge in the colleseum…). I came here because I noticed the 13th warrior rip off. Now I’m wondering what else they took. :/
I really thought I was the only person to notice this. Glad I'm not alone.
Not a ripoff, they used it as a temp track and it fit so well they didn't bother changing it. I love both movies and am ok with this.
Yep... I jumped from my seat....being The 13th Warrior one of my all time favs, I instantly recognized the score...
It's not a secret. It's a needle drop using Goldsmith's 13th Warrior score for temp source.
I didn't even bother to check if it was a different composer, I immediately assumed that it was lifted wholesale from 13th Warrior, when I heard it in Kingdom of Heavens.
Its called a TEMP TRACK.
For a number of inside reasons (lots of studio and set infighting), The 13th Warrior bombed, and bombed so badly that it was pretty much cursed in the industry. You can read about the drama elsewhere, but the upshot was that no one wanted to be anywhere near that film, even though it's really good. Due to the drama, Goldsmith wasn't even nominated for that year's Oscar for Best Score, when (IMHO) he should have won it handily. I think it's likely that the group from Kingdom of Heaven thought it was a shame that the soundtrack was ignored through no fault of its own, and wanted to give it a second chance.
Dear Amanda, I feel something when a girl like yourself does ballet, but unfortunately I can't say what since I've no wish to offend you. With due respect, us guys are human. More so than yourself. I hereby decline all offers for dates. As a woman, you will never understand.
No doubt....what a rip
If you fall Ridley Scott at all, you should know that he was Jerry Goldsmith's biggest fan. Kind of like Chris Nolan and Hans Zimmer collaborate now, Ridley Scott loved working with Jerry Goldsmith. Jerry Goldsmith until his death considered the score he wrote for Scott in the movie Legend to be his best work. Didn't surprise me for one second that a Jerry Goldsmith would be borrowed by Ridley Scott. Scott even had a reprise of Jerry Goldsmith's original score for Alien in Covenant.
Chris Nolan is a fucking plagiarist, a fraud and a liar who never created anything more than the shit in his diapers.
Other comment was correct. The credit was given. End of the credits it says Jerry Goldsmith, so not a steal, an honor.
I dunno, so far as I heard they had a rather troubled work relationship. Because of that they only worked on Alien and Legend together.
It is the same track. No copying or incorporating themes , just borrowing the exactly same music.
Right, that's why I said they stole it.
@@IsItModern Except it's not theft, lol. Theft implies they did someone wrong, however they were clear with their intention to pay homage to 13th warrior
why then they didnt copy all notes but left one out? 😂 clearly thuggy steal
@@VermillionGates lol, no. What are you talking about?? That is NOT how paying homage works. It requires you to actually giving credit, not straight up copying it and taking credit for it yourself.
@@roffe8751 Ok nerd

yea Shannon!
I love the use of the digital media /projections in this <3
I remember when I saw this movie. The music is gorgeous, but the Valhalla music threw me. I was sitting there like "Wait. That's Valhalla. That's from 13th warrior! THAT'S FROM 13TH WARRIOR!" and I was just astounded when I realized that they actually put a theme from another movie into it. Now, mind you, honestly, the music is a great match for the scene and you probably couldn't have found a better homage to the feeling of desperation and defiance than that music, but it's still pretty lazy.
I have never seen the 13th warrior It's on the list of movies I have to see Now that I know that one of my favourite musics of one of my favourite movies ever comes from it, it moved really up in the list :p
I don´t think it´s lazy. Also the iconic pirates of the Caribbean song is from Gladiator. If the composer has to write a song that has a certain emotion in it, I don´t see a reason why he should not use something from his previous compositions, if it has the sound he needs. It´s like trying to reinvwnt the wheel. Plus, I really think that sometimes directors use soundtrack from different movies to pay them homage. You know, it could have been pivotal movie in their career or something and they wanted to acknowledge it.
Great video, very inspiring! Thanks!
This is SO AMAZING thanks for making this whoever it is...now im not afraid anymore from going through this and doing what i love..
These aren't different scores. It's the same track, much like how "The Crow Descends" by Graeme Revell also makes an appearance in Kingdom of Heaven. Look at the end credits and see that Jerry Goldsmith is credited for the track "Valhalla".
+Kyle Voakes Thanks for the 411. I guess I should change the accusation from "steals" to "lazy".
@@IsItModern I wonder if Jerry Goldsmith was the original composer of KoH and was fired during its creation. Much like Graeme Revell's completed score for the 13th warrior was rejected and then redone by Jerry Goldsmith. Pretty funny. Thanks for the video comparisons.
@@BeforeiSleepFilmsJerry Goldsmith died almost a full year before Kingdom of Heaven was even released and had been suffering from cancer for at least a year before that.
@@IsItModern It's also entirely possible they were told to use that track by the studio to save time and money.
how do we give/donate money?

i absolutely loved this piece...i'm preparing to shoot a documentary of a friend of mine on dance as well and it will be my first time shooting a documentary period. i was searching for other dance documentaries to kind of learn from and found this one. so thank you for sharing this video....it was a learning experience and also plane fun to watch!
"Dance is definitely become something that let's me being more me and keep me more honest " I really love this quote. I do love that you raise the question at the very beginning, it will definitely help audience to wondering where is that passion comes from ? And also, I'm actually doing my short documentary about a Modern Dancer base in NYC as well :)
I always wanted to try african dance, but I already do ballet, contemporary, lyrical and jazz plus acrobatic and stretching classes (and pilates sometimes), so I never really had time to try it... But maybe I'll find a workshop or something to at least try it out =)
