To all who debate about the tempo: Of course the fantastic boy soloist had nothing to decide about the tempo. It was totally by the leader Theobald Scherms decided. But with 5:35 it is exactly in the 5:40-5:50 range on which all recordings from 50-75 yeaars back! - So don´t criticise the poor boy or eventhe that time conductor for what was for them the natural tempo.
