Renthal 7/8" Handlebar Install

Jay Clark shows you the best way to install and setup a new set of Renthal 7/8" handlebars
Warning, I followed this exactly the other day, within 20 mins of riding the next day my throttle got stuck and i now have a fractured wrist. I did have those wrap around handguards, which i swapped out for moto style hand guards. I guess there was supposed to be something covering the end of the throttle tube, but nothing mentioned here in this vid? Not a dig, just a heads up for anyone else who might make the same mistake.
What about the traction button it does not fit and assuming that’s why he didn’t show that
It's kinda dumb question, but would it be okay if we install the o-rings only one side while the other side not being installed?* *So that installing the clip of the master link makes easier
Nice video, the music is annoying
Don't you have to put bigger bar mounts in
Guess you already have oversized bar mounts because yall got thay rubber in there
twinwall has a 1-1/8” bar clamp diameter identical to fat bar
I'm running 13/45 on my 450 sumo. 112 links on now and going +2 on the rear. Should I add a link or so? Or can I just keep running 112 links?
Did he just used a torque wrench to removed those nuts?
I have a question but it doesn't look like you give any answers to questions I did contact Renthal by email with the same question but they haven't replied
If you use a spacer on the front sprocket you should be using the same thickness spacers on the rear sprocket and chain guide as well so everything stays aligned
Is it a Domino rapid gas?
Showing a closeup of the neutral position set up would have been nice.
Dear , I just bought a Classic Replica Jimmy Button bar for my street biker, actuely (moto guzzi V850) I was asking myself if it is possible and safe to remove the central crossbar? (and if yes, is there a "trick" or something, as I just wasn t able to unscrew the bolted screw, acutely) Thank you very much for your response. Regards
Nice
Thought same thing……
Extremely important step missed.... these sprockets are only installed one way. There is a side with a lip and one without. If you install it backwards, your entire drive chain will be angled. Why Renthal neglects to state this EVERYWHERE is confounding. Also, it doesn't help that the side with the Renthal name stamped on it is the BACK SIDE!!!!
Wait what?? How does spraying contact cleaner on outside of grip get grip off? What is this a gag?
they are perforated .. or whatever the word is .. small holes in them haha
Helps the grip slid against itself when "rolling" it off the handle bar.
@@Next2NullAnd in the vid it wasn’t rolling at all.
My question exactly
Great vid! is it ok to remove the crossbar from the 997 handlebar on an enduro dirt bike?
🙏

How can you spot fake renthal hanldebars from the original?
From what I read, this is also the level of customer service you can expect from Renthal. Once you buy the bar, they ghost.
Good motor
I work for renthal, the bar you installed on that bike was made by me Keith Jackson.
Is that the 971 Ricky Carmichael bar? would you know the I.D for using a bar end mirror?
Hace un año compré una manivela renthal para mi yamaha dt Y un código qr me trajo a este video Hoy muy feliz estamos restaurando la moto y la instalamos
Does this work for ktm duke 125? Or only enduro and offroad bikes?
A regular chain breaker will push that link right on
I got the new sprocket that cuts out mudd one side of the tooth is flat the next one has a groove on the other side and vice versa all the way around
I got lock nuts for mine the kind with the plastic inside the nut
What is the torque for the Riser bolts?

I had no idea that Renthal were UK-made!!
How close is this Renthal Red Color to the ZETA Red ????
How wide are the new clamps overall? Or how big is the cut out in the pad to fit these? Are they the same size or a bigger clamp overall
I don't have a buddy Dave...
Do I need to get different handlebar claps for the Fatbar36?
How to order?
Perfect, I have a friend named Dave
Y’all need to show how to install these on KTM’s with the traction control and other buttons. There’s not enough real estate.
Hey, that guy can barely see over the seat...Hahahahaha! Sorry Jay, had to pick on 'ya buddy.
Do you have lever for BMW Hp4 too?
There is no sound!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

gg my renthal bars r fucked since their bolt just broke on the crossbar
Will it break when you drop on rocks?
damn i need a buddy dave!!
Looks like it worked for Kenny at Glendale:)
Holy upsweep batman!
Dave, I'm sorry. But you made this video! Lol you are so under paid.
Like n sub Thank you😃
Awesome video, cheers dude! That spacer washer behind the front sprocket when going from a standard chain to an (slightly wider) O ring one is a perfect example of why I'm a CZcams mechanical video slut hahaha. It's not a big thing, but it's something the majority of people would not have considered until the chain has rubbed big honking butt-ugly gouges into the crankcase. Stuff the cat videos, this kind of content is what makes CZcams gawddammit! ;p
That's a lot of job just to install simple handguards...
