I *LOVE* 16mm film in all it's forms. If you want grainy, check out minox or super8. And even then those aren't that bad! It's all about the film ISO. This microfilm I have is basically invisible grain- but it's also like 25 iso lmao

I prefer the minolta 16 to this but I do love just being able to grab a brand new roll of film. I shoot cinema film and microfilm in my minolta 16 and develop it all myself- it's much cheaper to shoot one. Eventually I'm gonna get a minolta 110 zoom too, but I have to find an easier way to get in and out of these film cartridges to reload them lmao.

You should get a canon EOS 650. I have an original Rebel and while I like the feel of the camera itself they are very unreliable with their shutter and mirror box. I managed to fix the shutter stickiness on mine but the mirror box broke and gets jammed every 10 or so exposures :( the EOS 650 had the same adhesive stuck to the blades but it hasn’t effected any exposures yet soooo. The Rebel was made in Indonesia and the 650 was the first EOS from Japan so that probably explains it. The EOS film line is so underrated. I have an optically corrected FD adapter, an optically corrected MD adapter and an m42 adapter and that means it shoots whatever I want it to shoot. Amazing cameras

My first camera when I was a kid was a 110 camera. I was kinda excited when Lomography started manufacturing 110 film.

This is the camera of my childhood! I loved this thing! Took so many vacation photos and posed my little brother as Luke Skywalker after seeing Star Wars in the theater. Thank you for bringing back memories! The flash cubes were a luxury that we only used for birthdays and Christmas morning shots. If you can find them, flash bars were a slight upgrade.

Get a Minox 8X11 subminiature camera and develop the film yourself. You'll be amazed by the results!

One thing I would of liked to see on your chart is how many exposures each camera has that you are basing your results on. Thanks for all the helpful info with both your videos. Slightly discouraging videos to watch when I just got a kodak pocket instamatic BUT I know more of what I am getting into now. So truly thank you for making this content!

Why do half of these commercials seem to have more entertainment value than the majority of actual movies/tv shows nowadays anyway?

With everything as it is now, it’s kind of nice to see these commercial that have something a little extra that’s not just either trying to emotionally blackmail you, get weirdly (and usually needlessly) political or be so paper thin cynical with their product shilling that it’s stomach churning. Never thought I’d see the say that I watch old commercials and actually feel happy watching them.
