@keithstokes8563 well, for new players I'd recommend only one troop march from each WW/Liu, ZL/Hermann, Huo/ joan

For a little more reference, I was using Huo/Zhuge(with artifact) in my recent kvk. Once the huo skill happens first and he kills the enemy troop, your rage is reset. Zhuge cannot pop off his Big AOE skill. Meaning you lose a chance to do a lot of damage from your secondary commander almost always. And this is even worse with Joan since it denies her the double active skill. I still think all around tho, Nevsky is still better. His pairing with Joan is forever elite. Until Huo gets a perfect commander pairing, it will be difficult to trump Nevsky since he can also be used for rallying and garrisons. The value is just too good!

Nevsky is a better overall commander for sure, but new players should be doing huo for the fast skill cycle being great for hit and run, and for the healing (for barb chaining)

@@XolNico to silence is still overrated. Because we have Zhuge and boudica countering it. Attila in artifact kvks. Also if the march don’t survive, it’s much less useful.

@@XolNico there's 3 clear ones for each troop type (in order within their troop type); Liu Wallace ScipioP Nevsky Huo Joan Zhuge HermannP Ashur Then gorgo gets the last slot IMO just because she's the best garrison by a mile. If you want just field commanders, you can put BoudicaP or William in slot 10, probably William for me, he's still severely underrated.

@TJMiton i have ranked boudica on 8th place and william and gorgo are in honorable mentions, I have also said, gorgo as a commander is stronger then Alex, BUT Alex is much versatile in the open field, cause gorgo is super slow

​@TJMiton unless your a whale, most people are not investing gh on wallace if they already have a max alex. By himself he's not top 10 but liu che\alex is one of the best marches in the game.

@@julianhairston5411 dude, no one who started playing in the last like 2 years should have a maxed alex. yes, alex WAS the best commander in the game for a long time so all old accounts have him maxed, which is why it's so good the liu/alex is good because it saves you 700 heads on a new commander IF you already have alex. That said, Liu/Alex is like the 4th best Liu pairing (at best 3rd if you think gorgo is too slow) and no new account should be investing in alex to run it. The only accounts that should be running Liu/Alex are old accounts, but those accounts also typically have the gold head velocity to max whatever the meta is for field so they can just to wallace anyway. If the old account is badly managed/not very active and cant be running meta, then sure stick lith liu/alex, it's still good.
